Stopped by Echo Lake Cafe for breakfast. The service was mediocre, not friendly or real responsive. The meal (eggs, bacon and potatoes) were good but the pancake - where it looked perfect - was tough/chewy on the underside. It was difficult to cut with a fork. Flavor was good but couldn’t eat it because of how tough it was. Price was similar to what we are seeing at other breakfast/lunch spots with an average meal for 2 running approx $40.

Mistakes can happen...but, after watching 4 tables, who arrived after us, getting served their food, we waited patiently for our order. We approached servers and questioned where our food was. Eventually our server apologized and said the kitchen lost the ticket. We were not compensated for drinks, which is usually a normal apology.
