One of the best burger I've ever had. The fries were unique and delicious. The onion rings were amazing. Wonderful service in a beautiful setting. Highly recommend it.

Came in by myself there was a 45 minute wait. 3 open chairs at the bar but would not allow me to sit there.

YES there's always a 30 minute wait minimum, even on a Wednesday at noon ! But the food and service are the reason. Mark, our bartender and Brenda our server were so on top of things as we asked for things they were setting them down on the counter!
Chicken fried steak and French toast very good, but the sides were the stars! Sausage patty soon good I want to know the supplier. The breakfast potatoes had something in them that popped the taste to over 5 stars.
The standard wine and bloody Mary were high quality : Dao vinyards and Tito's!

This place, although having changed ownership, remains a real gem in the Valley. I have lived here since 2002 and it is still the place to beat. We just wished they still had their amazing Gouda Scramble, but there is such as huge menu to satisfy the most demanding person, like my wife.
I read some of the negative reviews and wonder IF some of these people don't get that there is a real issue not just here in the Valley but nationwide, finding enough staff in the service industry. Yeah, I have to occasionally wait for the food to come out during the busiest of times, nothing extreme, but staff is always friendly and the food fresh.
Still the best breakfast/brunch/lunch location in the Valley. With addition of alcohol my guests are always well taken care of.

Great food and you know it when you have to wait to get in because they are full at 11:00. Service is a little slow, but the food is worth it!

The food was good, but I was totally grossed out by the waitress behavior. One waitress dropped 2 napkin-wrapped utensils on the floor where everyone was walking, picked them up and set a table with them. I saw another waitress drop a bunch of clean forks on the floor and put them back in with the other clean forks that were being given to customers. Not sure if the workers here are being trained, that is super unacceptable!!
Down home food and friendly service. The best.
Always enjoy coming here when visiting the area. The food and service is great. I love how they have many homemade items. Just a suggestion...but to go along with the homemade items it would be nice to have homemade jams that are not prepackaged and real potato French fries (not frozen). Just a couple things that would be so fitting for this already special cafe. I appreciate the gluten free bread options. Would love to see gf pancakes :).

Went for breakfast because of reviews. There can be a wait because of this. Food was really good, had one of the menu favorites, benedict. Fresh oj a plus. Great atmosphere and good service.

2nd iteration of a Bigfork (Echo Lakers) tradition, since 70's. Pro Staff, outdoor seating, go at 630 or 7 for zero crowds. Small counter area for singles.
Lengthy wait when busy, but garden lawn hangout area. Serves beer now I think, auxiliary coffee shop too.
Not my favorite Chicken Fried Steak, go to Sykes for that...comes on 2 plates.

Do not spend 9$ on the “waffle”. Apparently that’s a normal sized waffle. Good thing I ordered the egg and 2 pieces of bacon on the side for another 5$. ?
