Good. Excellent service, but like all businesses in that area, treats like you are made of cash, and they are going to squeeze it all out of you.

This place has incredible food and drinks! No one makes better margaritas, the bartenders are the best in the business! I usually mix my own cocktails, and don't get mixed drinks out- El Topo is the exception.
The chefs are awesome, I'm not sure if the enchiladas with Colorado sauce or the pu pu platter is the better meal, we've never had a bad meal there! Thanks Ken, Lindy, Andrea, Kayla, Max, and all of you that make El Topo such a special place!

First time here in 32 years coming to BF. Great restaurant, excellent food. People that don't like this place don't like Mexican food. Chips, and salsa was delicious. No I am not related don't own part of the business. Best food I have had in a week.

We visit here each year while staying in the area. The food was very good especially the guacamole. I appreiacte the extra flavor in common Mexican restaurant items that makes the ones a el topo even better. I do feel that the salsa is lacking in flavor. Very bland. The service we had was great, however after reading other reviews it's unfortunate the owner comments on other customers reviews are rude and full of attitude if you happen to not like something about their restaurant.

Food was nice but ridiculous price for chips and salsa and not even one refill. Food is definitely tasty but very small in quantity for the nearly 20 to 25 dollars you pay for one dish...

We stopped by as we haven't been in years and had a craving for Mexican, and ended up very very disappointed. We ordered the blended strawberry margarita and the top shelf classic margarita, the strawberry was very strong and well worth the money. The chips were hot and fresh but the salsa was so mild my daughter was eating tons of it, which was refreshing but left a bit to be desired for adults. I ordered the taco special and was happy with the portion size and freshness but disappointed by the lack of spice on the taco meat. We also got the chicken enchilada plate and the smothered chicken quesadilla which ended up being so soggy we didn't even eat much of it. Overall good atmosphere and excellent waitresses but the meals need a bit of spice and extra flavors to be rewarding.

Kid-friendliness: Had a good kids menu with very very mild salsa.

El Topo is what happens when white people "interpret" Mexican food. The salsa was flavorless and obviously made in a food processor and the so called carne asada was not skirt steak. Just bland and tasteless altogether. The service was excellent though.

The restaurant was beautiful, the server was awesome. My husband said his margarita and Mojito was good, but the food was pretty bad. We're obviously from out of town and I've seen the owner make some pretty rude remarks to other people who have criticized the food, so I expect the same type of response here, but I stand by the review on the food. It's horrible. I ordered a chicken burrito with beans and that's literally all that was in the burrito. Chicken and beans. I got it smothered. My husband got a quesadilla. The quesadilla came with no cheese in it, which was odd because that's usually the main ingredient in a quesadilla. I can give 2 stars for the service and drinks, but the food is what we came for. Also the prices were pretty steep. I've never had to pay for chips and salsa at the beginning of a meal, and then I think I paid 16 for the chicken burrito and $2 more for rice on the side. The quesadilla was about $12. (Quesadilla wasn't too expensive)
