Overall, this is just a great dive bar. The health department gave them an A+. The food was good, and came out quickly, the beer and White Claw were cold. It was hard to ask for anything more than that. Remember cash only! They do have a few poker machines, so you'll want cash for those too. Had the mac and cheese bites, clams, and a burger.
Its the Garden Bar... In Big Fork... Its either a quaint little corner pub or a raging country bar full of drunk out-of-towners, just depends on the night. IYKYK.

The bar garden itself is really cool and unique. Unfortunately, the service isn't anything to write home about, and the food is absolutely abysmal. We had the fish and chips, and it was the lowest quality, cheapest pre-fabricated square frozen breaded fish, cheap frozen fries, and pretty certain even the tartar sauce was the cheapest tub of low quality pre-made slop money can buy. You'd like to believe restaurants around here would at leas make an effort, but at the Garden Bar, they clear couldn't be bothered.

Went a couple times for drinks. Good beer selection. Big outdoor terrace area was fun and full of atmosphere, with signs from all the prior events and businesses in town, spacious seating and a big stage. Service was slow to the back terrace, so go in to order drinks if necessary.
Parking: We came on (e)bikes one time, and it was super convenient to bring bikes through the back gate to the terrace.

Been wanting to try this bar in Old Downtown. Sat at the Bar. They saw me walk-in. There are only four others at the Bar and all talkin to the Bartender so I thought they all knew each other based on the Converstations ( plural) as they went on and on. After five minutes I got annoyed being completely ignored. I raised my hand and hollered "hey", but they were laughing so loud that unless I had yelled with attitude they just couldnt great. Now Curious I just sat wondering how long it would take to get served. Finally, finally he came over and rudely asked if I was gonna order anything or just sit there. I looked at my watch and said you saw me enter and sit here at your Bar 43 minutes ago. You have had good conversations with four friends and I even raised my hand and hollered HEY to get your attention . I sat here as others entered and sat at the Bar and you immediately served them. Now that the Bar area is just about full you ask me WHY. AM. I. JUST. SITTIN. HERE. AM I. EVER. GONNA. ORDER. SOMETHIN.I left, went down and across the Street to a place called Kelly's and I was served at the Bar by a nice Lady and later a Man. I bought rounds for all at the Bar and bought a Person's Meal order too. Then in the Downstairs Casino I won and split half with the Bartenders.Very weird experience at Garden Bar.
