We loved the food… everything made in-house and cooked to perfection. We’d go back in a heartbeat.
Came here on a recommendation. I'm glad we tried it. Casual atmosphere with outdoor dining but with gourmet food. We came for our anniversary and had a great meal.

I generally only leave positive reviews but I had to make an exception for this.
My family and I just had dinner at Great Northern Gourmet while passing through to Whitefish. Drove by and saw a bigger party with a few kids so we figured it was kid friendly and stopped in. They seemed a bit unorganized when we walked in and we waited 5 mins without being greeted before I asked the server working the front if we needed to seat ourselves or if they had a host. It was odd she didn’t say hi to us the 4 times she passed by.
The host came out and she was very friendly informed us there isn’t a kid menu but they could do a butter noodle or a cheese flatbread, which was nice of her.
After about 10 mins our server came over without greeting us or saying hello said “what can I get you?” I thought it was strange. I noticed for the other tables after us she was very friendly and engaging also read out all the night’s specials. I am curious if our treatment was because of the kiddos(were on their best behavior) or she’s wasn’t use to our demographic. We received minimal interaction from the server so we decided to not get drinks, finished our meal promptly to get out of there. While waiting for our check, which took a while, our server dropped off a check for the table behind me and thanked them for coming. She came over and just set the check on our table and walked away. Probably one of the worst service we have had in years.
The food was great but couldn’t cover up for the poor service. I understand sometimes things get busy, staff is thin and wait time is long but simply acknowledging your all of your guest not just some goes a long way.

Was in town with a group of 12. Texted to get a reservation for early Sunday dinner, and they opened just for us! Supreme service and food. Don’t skip dessert! The caprice salad was beyond belief as well!

It was a very cozy quiet place to eat. The food was amazing! Our server was very sweet, we were in town for our honeymoon and she gave us a slice of delicious French lemon cake to celebrate! ? I would definitely recommend this place and I would suggest the beef tenderloin, it was the most tender steak I've ever had!! The shrimp scampi pasta dish was spicy but very flavorful!

The most perfectly cooked steak we have had in years! The flavor and tenderness is better than some of the nicest steak houses.

The food was great. Thank you chefs. Service was horrible. Server yelled at us, when taking our order and trying to tell us the special. We ordered. After, she dropped food off and never asked us if we needed anything or looked at us. Just walked off to her 4 table section. We finished our meal fast because service was eh, didn't feel comfortable..... Left cash for payment and even more than 20% tip, I'm in the industry, maybe she was having a bad day??? Oh then the manager/owner slurping noodles behind the bar....they give you bread plates on table, but you have to order and pay for the bread, fine irritating, but whatever....Then......got text message accusing us of dining and dashing before we even got home. They got my number from when I called to see if they were open. Chefs...... Run. You are better than this.
It’s maybe a four…but order the pasta. Been here 3x. The fish rates as a 1. Just don’t do it’s snapper Picatta was more chewy than a rubber chicken. The Ahi had no taste. Wine selection….blah. Just being honest.

The owner, Dayva, was extremely knowledgeable about wine and was so friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent. My husband and I shared the caprese salad and the scampi plus he had the crab cakes and that was more than enough. Chocolate mousse for dessert served in a chocolate cup! Small restaurant with bistro ambience. We loved it and will go again.

We had a great meal and excellent service! The menu was great: three types of steak, seafood, lots of salads, and app choices!
