MacKenzie River at Saddlehorn Marina

Waited for about 5 minutes to get seated but was never acknowledged. While waiting I saw two pizzas that were cooked and ready to be served just sitting on the counter while the two kitchen people tried to avoid eye contact. Finally after about five minutes the guy ran out of space to stage another pizza so he delivered it with no haste or confidence. We left because we saw the writing on the wall.

The drinks , location and people were great. The pizza was terrible. Basically thin, overcooked frozen pizza. Worst pizza I’ve ever had. Truly bad and disappointing.

We were at our neighborhood beach and wandered over. The pizza was good and came out quickly. Everyone is very nice and helpful... I marked down on service slightly because the food and beverages are two different orders, which is mildly annoying. But, honestly, it was very peaceful for a late lunch, and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. I've heard that there can be some slow service, but we did not experience that at all. Thanks for a fun experience, MRP!

Great place to pull the boat up to and have a beverage and lunch

We tried to stop in here yesterday with our friend for her birthday for some drinks and food. The saddlehorn has been her long time favorite that she has always recommended to friends and family. After this experience she won’t be doing that nor will she be back. As long time customers we are aware that the saddlehorn only uses single use plastic cups and dishes, so we brought our own reusable cups. When we asked the bartender if he could make the drinks in our cups so we didn’t have to throw away multiple rounds of plastic, he was extremely rude and not accommodating. I will emphasize that it was completely dead. There were a few people at the bar and every single table was empty, so this was not an unreasonable request. The staff working the kitchen was extremely friendly and accommodating and were so nice when I was asking them questions about the menu. But four customers walked without buying anything because of the attitude of the bartender. Also it’s 2022... time for the saddlehorn to get some real dishes.
