Oro y Plata in Big Fork has a great atmosphere — really cozy and welcoming. The service was friendly and attentive, which made the visit enjoyable. I had the tacos, and while I thought they were a bit on the expensive side, the handmade flour tortillas were tasty and fresh. The queso and salsa were really good too. Overall, a solid spot if you’re looking for a nice place to eat in town!
Went for a family dinner and the meal started off great -- they chips were hot and fresh with excellent salsa flavor. We ordered queso con carne ($9) and it was hot fresh and thick enough grab on your chip and truly dip. The guacamole ($7) left a bit to be desired it was very basic with little flavor -- if you like just plain avacados with a bit of salt this is what you will get. Our whole family agreed the avacados were fresh but lacked the flavor (such as onion, tomato, garlic,...
The Best Tex-Mex around!!! Yes its a little pricey but aren't most places downtown?
I would like the beans and rice a little more seasoned, but I'm not going for the beans and rice.
