Must go! We boated there for lunch two days in a row. The young men and women that greeted us at the dock were very helpful in docking and then getting fuel, very organized and well done. The food is amazing, we had salads and pizzas. The drinks are amazing as well. The views are beautiful. Family friendly.

We had a great time reuniting with old friends here tonight. We arrived by boat, had a very short wait on a Friday night at 7pm, entering a busy restaurant. The short line and the customer orders were very well organized by a young blonde lady running the register. The place was clean, had a great Energy and the staff was attentive and helpful, even though seemingly short handed for the dinner rush (delivery of food was not perfect, and came out as it came out, and I had to excuse myself to help expedite our food order to our table due to the business volume surrounding our order, and the staff expediting seemingly being in the weeds). After all, We enjoyed the food, once it all finally came out, it took approximately 40 minutes... Regardless, It's great to have Mack Pie food on the lake. For possible improvements, my friend thought the willow Creek bread was odd (thickness/texture looked funny), not what they were used to. I had a Cobb salad which consisted mostly of a leafy weed like lettuce spring mix (not romaine/red leaf) which was inedible due to the lettuce stalks and weed like textures left behind in my bowl (see the photo I posted). Otherwise everything was on point, prices seemed fair, and the place is way better than the alternative options around the lake. We all appreciated the full bar and having the luxurious atmosphere paired with Mackenzie River menu favorites. This place is well worth the visit by car or boat and if there is a wait for seats or food... Stay, you will not regret it in hindsight. Kudos to those that came up with this special concept. I enjoyed reminiscing about the last 30 years of Mackenzie River experience here in the valley while enjoying this establishment. Thank you for having us. B$

Weekend visit around 5 pm, thus it was moderately busy but I have seen it much worse.
Good: View, boat parking, huge plus for ambiance and most of food was good on this visit.
Bad (for food): Service was horrible despite up front 20% tip. My meal (Willow Sandwich) was good and came out in a very reasonable 25 minutes. My wife ordered spinach salad, but it didn't come out for over an hour, thus we weren't able to enjoy our meal together. After about 45 minutes, I asked about the delay, but I was given a very smug look as if I was some sort of Karen. There was no apology etc. The four people eating with us had similar experience except they ordered pizza with sandwich. We found out they can only cook two pizzas at a time thus there was an unavoidable delay for that part of their order. Would have been nice if they told people up front pizzas are often delayed.
So if you go here, don't plan to eat together unless you all order the same pizza. Just assume there will be a huge delay for pizza if they are at all busy. And don't expect an apology if things are delayed. And keep in mind, inquiring about your delayed meal will not speed things up. Don't waist your breath.

Always glad to use technology to place my food order. We had to get our drinks , which took some coaching. ? The dissatisfaction came from having 5 food orders and 4 of the 5 came out at the same time. According to the staff they only have one cover to melt and cook the burgers. Ok. Ok. I tipped the staff 20%. I have now went to Amazon and ordered the restaurant 2 covers so they can NOW cook 9 burgers at a time!!!!! You are welcome!!

We tried to stop in here yesterday with our friend for her birthday for some drinks and food. The saddlehorn has been her long time favorite that she has always recommended to friends and family. After this experience she won’t be doing that nor will she be back. As long time customers we are aware that the saddlehorn only uses single use plastic cups and dishes, so we brought our own reusable cups. When we asked the bartender if he could make the drinks in our cups so we didn’t have to throw away multiple rounds of plastic, he was extremely rude and not accommodating. I will emphasize that it was completely dead. There were a few people at the bar and every single table was empty, so this was not an unreasonable request. The staff working the kitchen was extremely friendly and accommodating and were so nice when I was asking them questions about the menu. But four customers walked without buying anything because of the attitude of the bartender. Also it’s 2022... time for the saddlehorn to get some real dishes.
