Stopped in here after the whitewater event. Service and drinks were great, loved the atmosphere and location. Prices were very good. I ordered the Shrimp Asada, and it was cooked well but maybe a little bland. The house made hot sauce really improved the flavor. Dish doesn't have any white queso in it, which is different from a lot of places I've been. Would definitely recommend it if you're stopping in Bif Fork.

Great little restaurant with handmade tortillas! You can get their tacos with either regular tortillas or handmade, definitely go for the handmade. We met the woman who was making them, she seemed to be one of the owners and she was so nice. Her husband was running the front of house/bar. She told us that they make everything on the menu fresh every morning and it definitely tasted like it.

We went for lunch one day and had the tacos. Then we went back for lunch the next day for the tamales, which are not on the menu every day. Highly recommend the tamales! Most of the time when we get tamales anywhere there’s way too masa and not enough meat, but these were perfect. We had the pork tamales, which were fairly spicy.

We also really enjoyed their chips, also homemade.

Price was very reasonable, we had three handmade tacos, two tamales, free chips and salsa, and soft drinks for $28.

Greasiest tacos I’ve ever seen. Couldn’t even eat one…

This restaurant is fantastic. The food is DELICIOUS, AUTHENTIC, and very affordable. It is by far my favorite Mexican restaurant in Bigfork, and will definitely be my go-to! The service was wonderful. The staff was super friendly, warm, and welcoming. We visited with the owner and he was very kind and warm. The food was awesome! I had the carne asada street tacos and a chile relleno, and they were excellent. They go out of their way to make sure you're taken care of. I highly HIGHLY recommend. Please ignore the excessively negative reviews about this place. They're just not true. Support this local GEM!!

Their tacos are the bomb🔥. Along with great customer service and fantastic atmosphere, I 100% recommend Puente Viejo Cantina in Bigfork.

Had street tacos and margaritas tonight. It was a great experience/ambience. The staff were super friendly and enjoyable to talk to. The margaritas were delicious and the street tacos tasted exactly how I'd hope street tacos would taste! Looking forward to coming back

These guys really care about the quality and authenticity of their food and it shows. From the amazing homemade tortillas and salsa to the generous tequila tastings, this place is hard to leave once you sit down. These places are hard to come by these days and we can’t wait to go back.

We stumbled into this place for lunch while shopping in Bigfork and it’s a gem! Open on Sundays too (only closed on Wednesdays).

Try the Shrimp Diablo plate in a delicious sauce and the best ever Chile Relleno plate (my wife agrees and she makes a delicious one but it is now the second best version we have ever eaten).

Excellent hand cut guacamole (add a squeeze of lime), lighter but delicious house salsa served with chips. Margaritas are also very good.

Excellent service too, and TVs to watch sports.

Perhaps the best Mexican restaurant in the Flathead. Please ignore the couple of not so good reviews below and focus on the very good ones; try it, order what we ordered, see for yourself.

I tried this place for the first time tonight, Ive lived here my whole life and never knew it existed! No clue how missed it!
It is absolutely delicious! The service is above and beyond any service I've had in Montana in years. The atmosphere is upbeat and enjoyable while still being very low-key.
The full bar is also a great addition. These people know what they are doing!!! A++++

The worst food I’ve ever had. The tortilla chips were more like pita chips, the salsa was served in a plastic container and definitely frozen, and the birria tacos and quesadilla tasted like they were run through the dishwasher. Neither my partner and I have ever just paid the check and left without eating but we did for the first time ever here. The waitress was very nice though.

My friend ate here and tried the birria tacos and they sucked never eating here. Good waitress tho. Some dude watching tik tok full volume. 😩
