The Nest is the best venue ever. The ceremony site is utterly magical, overlooking the sparkling river. The cabins were comfortable and clean, the perfect Montana experience for our out of state family. Pam, Mike, and Kelsey went above and beyond to make our weekend special. Pam and Kelsey were so calming and helpful, and Mike's cocktails were out of this world! He even squeezed watermelon juice for our signature cocktails. Our guests had soo much fun and kept telling us we should throw a wedding at the Nest every year. Thank you Pam, Kelsey, and Mike!!!!! We had the most magical weekend.
It is a beautiful and pleasant place with beautiful and special nature. I recommend this beautiful place and the owners.?✨️
We recently attended a family reunion at the Nest on Swan River Montana. I cannot say enough good things about the facilities, amenities, and owners. The area is beautiful, the home and cabins are terrific and can accommodate several people/family’s. Gonif you can, you will not regret it! Thank you for for the best vacation ever … Karen
You will not be disappointed with this venue!!! I recently had my wedding at the Nest and had a wonderful experience working with Pam, Mike, and Kelsey. They were all so responsive, kind, helpful, and truly genuine in wanting to help make your experience as special as possible. The property is BEAUTIFUL, well-maintained, and had a very home like feel to the entire place. We will definitely be back for a family reunion in the future! This place is truly one of a kind.
Blue's Breads . We get our bread from a chef. He makes the best sourdough breads I've ever had. And his muffins are second only to my moms.
In the summer of 2023 we hosted a reunion for extended family, 24 guests, for four nights at The Nest. It was a magical time! All of what we saw on the website was accurate: lodging options that were rustic on the outside and luxurious on the inside. There were lovely spaces to allow individual families to be together in privacy, as well as large spaces to gather together. Pam and Mike have succeeded in inviting folks to spend time outdoors: for instance, there are riverside patios that encourage spending time watching the birds on the river. The riverbend itself is an appealing place to put in a kayak and take a safe and beautiful paddle around the corner, upstream or down. There are two large commercial kitchens. For us, the Lodge was the space to gather each evening, with one family group cooking each night. We commissioned the local baker, Mr Blu of Blu Funk, to make us a few dozen bran and carrot cake muffins for our breakfasts. Coffee is available in the Lodge all the time, and individual cabins have coffee makers. Pam and Mike were present, hospitable, and not intrusive. We even found fresh bread and huckleberry jam in the kitchen, as an unexpected treat! The area itself is naturally blessed with pine trees, fresh water, mountain trails, birds, and other wildlife. I hope we can go back, if not this year then next, with all our family members along!
We had an amazing wedding at The Nest. We rented a few of the cabins and the Inn so our family and friends could stay. The owners, Pam and Mike, are wonderful hosts and setup a bonfire for us for after quiet time. Everyone who attended was blown away by the beauty of this place and our wedding photos are gorgeous.
Our Family has hosted two large events at The Nest On Swan River in Bigfork, Montana. The first was an outdoor Fall Engagement Party for about 50 guests. It was so wonderful and perfect an experience that we returned the following Fall and hosted a 90th Birthday Party for 65 people, again outdoor. Both of these events included many out of town guests who stayed in the on-property cabins or in the Inn. They all reported being very happy with their accommodations, thrilled in fact.Working with Pam and Mike Roessmann is a dream. They bend over backwards to accommodate our every request and need.If you want a breathtaking location that is more than user-friendly, choose The Nest. You will be glad you did.
Beautiful spot, quiet and right on river. Can't wait to go back.
What an amazing gem in the town of Bigfork! I recently hosted a retreat on the property and the venue provided to perfect backdrop to get quiet and enjoy nature. Pam and Mike were great hosts, always available and keeping the property impeccably maintained. Highly recommend.

I perform a lot of weddings every year, and I hit up a lot of venues all across the beautiful state of Montana. The Nest in Bigfork is one of the most beautiful venues that I have ever had the chance to work at. The property is gorgeous, the staff is beyond helpful and their Wi-Fi is very fast which helps me download any songs that I may not have. This place is a hidden gem here in the flathead Valley and I highly recommend you giving them a call in hopes of celebrating your big day at this gorgeous location
The Nest on Swan River is truly the top notch wedding venue! Pam and Mike could not have been friendlier or more accommodating. They made sure that our entire family felt welcomed and comfortable during our weekend stay and wedding. They are truly invested in your wedding and want to ensure it's the best day of your life. We are FOREVER grateful for Pam and Mike opening up the Nest and the entire property. It is like a piece of heaven on earth, and somehow we got lucky enough to celebrate our love there.

We cannot say enough good things about Pam & Mike and The Nest. This venue was beyond our expectations in every way. It is hard to take pictures that due justice to the beauty and wonder of the property. From our first communication with Pam & Mike, they were punctual, professional, kind, and helpful. We had a destination wedding, so the communication was especially appreciated. When we toured the venue for the first time it felt like we were touring a friend's home - they were so welcoming and warm. It is obvious the hard work they have put into the property to make it stunning. Not only are Pam & Mike amazing, but the venue is BREATHTAKINGLY GORGEOUS - we felt like we walked into a movie. We signed the paperwork as soon as the tour was over. Leading up to the wedding Pam & Mike were available and supportive with any questions that popped up. On the day of (and the weekend of the wedding), they were behind the scenes helping vendors, getting the gorgeous driftwood arbor ready, and walking around the property with smiles on their faces. It was wonderful to have a bartender included - we had a dry wedding and they easily and eagerly accommodated. We decided to rent the property from Thursday-Monday to have more time with our bridal party at the venue. We had a "River Day" on the property the Sunday after the wedding and invited family&friends over to enjoy the river and the view. Pam & Mike mentioned that they had not seen that done before, and commented on how wonderful & special it was for wedding guests to come back and be together and have time on the river. Additionally, the lodging accommodations were beautifully appointed, stunning, decorated, and spotless, and included the wonderful craftsmanship of Mike in every corner. At the end of the wedding night, they had a big beautiful bonfire ready for us and lit the way to the bonfire with candles - it was magical. They feel like dear friends now and we cannot wait to visit again.

As the president of the Park Side Charitable Foundation, I sponsored an intimate, invitation only event for wealth management for a few of the credit unions members. This was beautiful space to hold a seminar and the owner, Pam Roessmann and their event planner, Brianne Aho did a wonderful job accommodating our small group.
