The Nest on Swan River, Wedding Venue, Retreat Center, Event Venue

The owners of The Nest on Swan River will make sure your day is remarkable. This is not blowing smoke, this is a genuine review. I had my wedding there in late September of last year, and we had the most amazing time. Our wedding party stayed there for two nights and made memories we'll never forget. They will work with you on booking rentals to accomodate your needs without overwhelming their capacity. The experience, hospitality, communication, and beautiful location was excellent. I still receive texts from many of my guests, family-members, and friends inquiring about availability for this site for their next trip or family-reunion plans. We can say as the bride and groom involved, the cohesiveness between The Nest, us, vendors, wedding planner's (if needed), and everything in-between was unmatched. We highly recommend. 5 stars.

We feel so blessed to have found The Nest on Swan River and to have chosen it to be the place we got married in front of our closest friends and family. We were able to reserve the whole campus to allow for a personalized and private experience and it not only made every event so easy, but offered a space to make special memories with my out of state family.
Pam and Mike are people you want to work with. They take great care of this site and want to ensure that everyone staying has an unforgettable experience. This location is hard to beat, with the river views, the mountains in the back, and the drooping trees- it makes for amazing pictures and a scene that feels so magical. Not to mention it’s very close to Flathead Lake and Glacier National Park- extending your stay past the wedding weekend is the way to go to keep the celebrations going by experiencing everything around it. We can’t wait to return to celebrate our anniversaries in the years to come. Truly a dream!

We had the reception for my daughters wedding here. The space was absolutely fantastic with great views and well maintained grounds. Kelsey and Pam were very helpful with the booking process. Kelsey also helped with reminders of a lot of small details that we may have missed if not for the great communication. All of our guests had a wonderful time and loved the place. If you are looking for a great venue run by wonderful and helpful people for any event I would highly recommend booking here. You will not be dissappointed. Thank you Kelsey for all of your help and communication to ensure the evening went off without a hitch and we all had a great time.

What an amazing venue! It’s so beautiful and quiet right on the river to ensure a fantastic memorable time. The folks who own and work here were all so wonderful and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. I had accidentally thrown away a bag of my kids dirty clothes and I reached out to Pam and she recovered our twins wedding outfits and mailed them to Missoula for us. Thank you Pam for saving our kids first wedding outfits and for going above and beyond!

Had our wedding yesterday at The Nest and it was more perfect and magical than I ever could’ve imagined. Mike and Pam are amazing and so welcoming. Kelsey was great with helping the whole planning process. Will be making The Nest a vacation spot for many years to come!

We had an incredible wedding weekend at the Nest on Swan River. Pam, Mike, and their daughter in law Kelsey went above and beyond in helping with planning, answering my millions of questions promptly, and making sure the weekend and day went by smoothly. The property is absolutely gorgeous, the cabins are clean and cozy, and the hospitality is unmatched. We can't wait to be back!

The Nest on the banks of the Swan River is a marvelous, cozy, beautiful wedding venue! Our son and now daughter-in-law were married there recently in a winter wedding. Pam and Mike were warm, welcoming, flexible, and attentive. The setting was gorgeous. Because many guests were able to stay in the on-site accommodations, we enjoyed a relaxed and close-knit weekend. Many thanks to Pam and Mike for a memorable time.

I’ve been hesitant to write this review. We had our wedding here two years ago. It was absolutely gorgeous.
However the owners felt the need to hang around all day. We were eating dinner, when our photographer pulled us outside for a few more pictures before she had to leave. By the time we got inside, everyone had left and the owners were cleaning up the entire mess hall. It was 5 and had to have the place cleaned up by 11. They threw out our wedding cake toppers, which we so incredibly important to us.
We also stayed in the cabin attached to the same building. There were no curtains and the owners were still around on the property. It felt as if they could just walk in at any point, just like they did with our wedding.
They also took down our alter before we were able to finish pictures up with it. I just don’t understand why they had to lurk around and clean up when we were the ones responsible for doing so.
Every time I think about our wedding, I just remember the disappointment of all our stuff being thrown out and dismantled.

This profile name is also my maiden name. There was a different name on the reservation. I have no desire to reach out. I only wanted others to see an honest review, just like everybody else.

The Nest is the best venue ever. The ceremony site is utterly magical, overlooking the sparkling river. The cabins were comfortable and clean, the perfect Montana experience for our out of state family. Pam, Mike, and Kelsey went above and beyond to make our weekend special. Pam and Kelsey were so calming and helpful, and Mike's cocktails were out of this world! He even squeezed watermelon juice for our signature cocktails. Our guests had soo much fun and kept telling us we should throw a wedding at the Nest every year. Thank you Pam, Kelsey, and Mike!!!!! We had the most magical weekend.

We recently attended a family reunion at the Nest on Swan River Montana. I cannot say enough good things about the facilities, amenities, and owners. You will not be disappointed with this venue!!! I recently had my wedding at the Nest and had a wonderful experience working with Pam, Mike, and Kelsey. They were all so responsive, kind, helpful, and truly genuine in wanting to help make your experience as special as possible. The property is BEAUTIFUL, well-maintained, and had a very home like feel to the entire place. We will definitely be back for a family reunion in the future! This place is truly one of a kind.
