Visited from out of state. Showed up due to Google ratings. Was insulted by the bar tender for asking what was good on the menu, friend bought a raspberry beer that she disliked because it tasted gross. I ordered a street fight red ale and saw a street fight randomly that was as if it was out of grand theft auto, saw a baby left on a high top table, and thought it was a senior center. Showed up happy left angry. 10/10.
Been going to Hanks since it opened in an old gas station in 2006. The same brewer has been brewing since they opened. The different beer styles always have a consistent flavor, so you can go back months/years later and expect that your favorite beer will taste the same. It is a great place to make new friends.
Very friendly staff and excellent beers. Awesome pricing - $3 a pint. Free pretzels today. They have a popcorn machine as well, but not today. Will definitely return next time we're in the area.
