We were welcomed warmly by the owner. She cared for us as if we were in her own home. I ordered the pozole and it was so flavorful with plenty of hearty meat, hominy and crisp vegetables. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. It felt like going home to your mamita’s house.
What a graced restaurant La Tinga is! I would call it "soul food" because, beyond the wonderfully tasty menu and superb presentation of the food, the essence of the restaurant and it's owner/staff wraps you in care and even love! This place is one of the more distinctive heart centers of Billings! You deserve to taste THAT experience!And let yourself linger over the many photos of guests on the walls. My wife and I stopped by for lunch. It had been a few years since we last stopped in and it was just as good as we remembered it. Evelyn runs an amazing restaurant and is very welcoming. She serves great food and is a great addition to the community. We will definitely be spending more of our lunch breaks at La Tinga. Thanks!
