100% best Italian food in Montana. Great staff, atmosphere and the food is the bomb. Dessert is a must!!

Ciao Mambo’s is our favorite place for date night! We start with bread and the Bocconcini Fritti (3 glorious fried cheese balls in tomato sauce - tip, dunk your bread in the left over sauce), I get the Pasta Ravenna every time and my husband gets the Gamberi Fra Diavolo.. We finished with coffee and Lemon Mascarpone Cake with raspberry sauce.The atmosphere is bustling and the staff is wonderful. There is a lot of background noise which can make conversations more difficult if you’re hard of hearing. Parking can be tricky but worth it. Overall we love this place.Dietary restrictions: They offer multiple gluten free pasta options.Kid-friendliness: They have paper table cloths and crayons for kids to draw. High chairs are available. They have a nice kids menu with pasta, pizza, chicken fingers, and Mac n cheese.

It is hard to write this review because it makes me hungry. We arrived with my parents who are both using walkers and they were able to seat us after a short wait. They were helpful managing my parents get up a couple of stairs to their seats. The food was delicious. We tried several dished and ever one of them were delicious. I ordered spaghetti and meatballs which I never do because I make it at home. This was different. The meatballs were amazing. I will be dreaming of them until we come back. The lasagna, the penne, the veal dish - perfection.

Been there twice , one year apart. Quality still there. Had GF pasta and regular Both great and these little "thin rolls of cheese as appetizer ". Really good. Good Italian wine selection.

I had a wonderful experience at Ciao Mambo, sat at the bar and enjoyed a nice beer and the mussels ans manicotti!! Everything from service to food was superb, topped the night off with a piece of tiramisu, yum.
I love the garlic bread... so great dipped in marinara sauce. I had the eggplant parm several times over my week-long stay in Billings. I loved sitting at the bar watching the pizza makers throw the pizza dough. One of my favorite restaurants in Billings.

Ciao Mamba is an absolute gem of an eating establishment, as evidenced by their consistently big crowds. The food is old-school Italian. Huge tasty dishes with flavorful meats and sauces, accentuated by helpful and knowledgeable staff in a relaxed but elegant setting, make this an absolute must visit for residents and visitors alike.Kid-friendliness: Large kid's menu with varied options.
THEY ARE LIARS!!!!! If I could leave 0 stars I would. Booked a “private room” only to be put at the very front of the restaurant, in a not at all private area. Had multiple conversations with several staff members about my event but the event was not at all what was discussed. Was promised a private room and discussed with staff but showed up and was extremely unhappy with what I was presented. The staff was very uninformed with my whole reservation and were not accommodating to my previous requests that were discussed with an “manager” ( who knows who the actual manager is because I’ve spoken to so many ). Absolutely would never recommend anyone plan anything here. You will be extremely dissatisfied with the level of communication from this facility and the lack of accountability for their mistakes. Will not be giving ciao mambo in billings my business in the future.

My absolute favorite place here and Whitefish MT. The Italian nachos are to die for. It's my request for every special occasion. Often hard to get seated right away but they do take out too so there's that.
