My husband and I had dinner at Ciao Mambo yesterday for our two year wedding anniversary. We were informed of the long wait time, but we were more than willing to wait. We ordered our pastas and added a Caesar salad on the side. I unfortunately forgot to mention that I have a mushroom allergy and was not aware that the salad came with mushrooms until it arrived at our table, but our server was super kind and quickly took the salad away and asked for a new salad to be made mushroom...
Food: Delicious! It tastes fresh and lots of flavor!!! The entire meal was great. Loved the pasta dishes!! The bread could have been warmer.
Service: Our server was friendly and attentive. We had lots of care from others as well.
Atmosphere: Definitely crowded and a little tight in space. Dark lighting and has a very authentic vibe.
Highly recommend!

Look, it’s not the best but it gets the job done. Replacement-level Italian fare that you could probably cook at home. They’re clearly running a volume business and judging by the crowds, business is good. If you want pasta or something a little more inspired, I’d try Marble Table, Walker’s, Stacked, Bin 119, The Granary, or Bistro Enzo before going here.
Restaurant decor is a little tired and the dining room is dark, dingy, and badly in need of a deep...
