Love the Bacchus. But only for the service and drinks. The food part of the “restaurant” is abysmal. Long wait for food, over seasoned, overpriced. It’s a good vibe but could be better. Come to drink and hang out. That’s it.

Looking forward to St Paddy’s Day Corned Beef and Cabbage after having the best meal here two years ago. Prison food? Cabbage was gray and overcooked from Valentines Day.Corned beef was a thin slice of brisket gristle and potatoes were just lonely and sad. Terrible meal. Insulting.

My family and I ate here in December 2023. It was a good experience so we were looking forward to coming back on this trip. Unfortunately, we sat there for 15 minutes and no one even acknowledged that we were there. Finally went next door to Ted’s.

I was visiting Bozeman for the first time on a Sunday night. Looking for a downtown bar to hang out at to get a feel for the night life of Bozeman (being on Sunday night could be tough). The bartender at MAP Brewing told me about a chill bar with a good variety of beer to check out, Bacchus Pub. Over the hour or so I was sitting at the bar, I was welcomed in by friendly staff (believe the bartender's name was Madi) and enthusiastic locals. I will definitely visit again when I'm in town!

I am sorry, but do NOT order the "Weiner Schnitzel." Actually the worst schnitzel or "fried" steak I've ever had. It was 80% soggy microwaved bread, with the thinnest layer of sandwich-style meat in it. A factory made abomination of a schnitzel. We were unable to eat it or bear smelling it. If you want a real schnitzel in MT, go to Bayern Edelweiss in Missoula.

The curry fries and pretzel are awesome though. Great place besides whatever it was that I ate.

Being from New England and visiting many authentic Irish pubs...this establishment sadly lacked any "Irish pub" feel ( we had better experiences in AZ and PA).
The drink menu was littered with "cucumber foo foo" drinks, that although sounded good...I didn't dare ask if they even made an "Irish coffee" which I typically order at every Irish pub I visit ( that should have been on the drink menu knowing they had Jameson on the shelf but it wasnt).
The food menu also lacked "Irish" items, and the ones that were considered Irish on the menu like the sheperds pie that we had hoped to order viewing the menu online ahead of time, they were out of during our time of dining ( ok, maybe the food delivery was late...forgiven). I ordered a turkey club which was ok but falling apart while I ate it, and my husband ordered their "lucky #7" which was a bratwurst with peppers and onions...this was a sad looking meal because the size of the bratwurst was that of a fenway frank hotdog....the bun it came in was too oversized the the bratwurst. All bread, no "meat" to the meal.

The atmosphere felt like it was "trying to be Irish" yet had a "we need to fit in with the current trend of Bozeman"

I won't discount the bartender who was friendly and attentive during our service...

Nice try, but better luck in your future endeavors!

Overall, the food was good. We had the schnitzel which was really good, and came with potatoes and veggies. We also had the beef chilli which was a disappointment, it literally had 2-3 cubes of beef that’s it. Bathrooms were ok and service was slow…I think they’re short staffed. Overall I’d say an A or 4 stars.

Service was great, food was cold and subpar. The Bacchus has been our go to for 10+ years. The food today was a huge disappointment... I really hope the Bacchus gets back on track

Really enjoyed our visit to Baccus for an early dinner while passing through Bozeman on a long road trip. After being turned away from other restaurant with our dogs, Bacchus seated us immediately and Maddy gave us great service and made us and our dogs feel welcome. The beer was great, the food was good and they are dog friendly. Recommend and would return.

Extremely rude waitress when asked if they were open an hour after they were supposed to be.

The food was delicious. The service was excellent. We sat outside on a beautiful summer evening and just watched people. The traffic was t bad unless someone decided to try and beat the red!

Came in with 4 friends, and was promptly seated. Drinks came out quickly with delicious food shortly after. I highly recommend the Ruben and the excellent service from Krystina.

Came in no one seated us, went and seated ourselves outside because the bartender said go ahead. Sit outside patiently waiting waitress came out looked right at us turned around and walked away, went and helped. Other people waited patiently some more watched her come see someone else looked right at us, ignored us, walked away, so I went into the bar and asked the bartender if someone would please service we want food they said yes server came back out again 10 minutes later the other menus and just totally didn’t even acknowledge earlier so we walked out . Very sad definitely wanted to eat there.
