I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Burger Bob’s / The Spur. We walked in, sat at a table, and were not acknowledged a single time. Another group came in after us, sat down, and was helped immediately. Meanwhile, our server walked right past us—twice—and even stopped to check on the table next to us without so much as a “Hi” or “I’ll be right with you.”
We waited ten minutes with zero acknowledgment. Not even a basic greeting. At that point, we got up and left.
We went to Back Country Burger Bar instead, where we received outstanding service and delicious burgers—night and day compared to what we just experienced.
I was born and raised in Montana, have lived in Bozeman for 26 years, and have been to Burger Bob’s many times over the years. After this experience, never again. And I’ll be sure to share this story anytime someone asks where to get a good burger.
Shame on you, Burger Bob’s. The only reason they’re getting one star is because Google won’t let me give zero.

It was difficult to find because it is part of a bar. The veggie burger is made with eggs. I would not recommend if you or any of your friends are vegan.

Absolute waste of time and money. It took forever to be seated, after I was seated it took very long for the waitress to come back again and take the order.
Once the order was finally taken it took at least 30 minutes for the food to be brought out. The burgers were a poor effort, overcooked and dry despite being not very cheap. It then took another 30 minutes of waiting for the check. Other people around me were also waiting a very long time to pay and leave.
I went here last year as well and it was the same experience. Please go somewhere else you will only be disappointed.

I would go back to Bozeman just for the onion rings at Burger Bob’s. The service was friendly and the burger was good, too. But whatever you decide to get, do yourself a favor and get the rings. They’re perfect.

The food and shakes were what you would expect for bar food and the atmosphere was a great cowboy vibe. Mikayla the waitress was so rude. I don’t think I have ever had a waitress be so unfriendly and snobby. She acted like we were such a burden from the minute we walked through the door. I did not a leave a tip and I usually always tip at least a few bucks. She shouldn’t work in a customer service job.

I'm a longtime local that used to eat here in the early 2000s all the time. The decorations are all the same, but the food isn't what it used to be. Burgers were ok, not great. Milkshake was suuuper watery. Poured out like chocolate milk, not a milkshake. Sad to say but Burger Bob's is running on nostalgia, not quality of food now. I suspect it'll be replaced in the next 5 years. It was pretty empty for lunch so the writing is on the wall.

I have lived here a year and only been to this establishment at lunch…. But I’m here now on a Saturday night and my bartender Brittney absolutely made our night! Personality plus, on point with her drinks and just a beautiful person inside and out!! We need more of HER in this world!! We will def be baaaaack!
Came across this place by accident; but will definitely keep coming back! The food was great, wings were well cooked and plentiful! Brittney kept the drinks flowing and the vibes going! She was incredible!

Didn't eat here but they have a pretty good selection of beer on tap as well as bottled. I really do wish a good Brown Ale was available but for now the public just wants IPAs and flavored Hefs so that's what most bars serve and I don't blame them. But... Hey if you're reading this, Moose Drool or Beartooth's Saddle Bronc on tap, I'm sure would scratch the itch of a few appreciative beer snobs well past their IPA phase.
Great service! It was a busy Sunday afternoon, and though we didn't order any food, the waitress was very pleasant and checked in on us quite frequently. Thanks!

Ok, never base your choice of 1x review, and everyone has a bad day, maybe I caught them on theirs today.
The waitress (in her defense was the only one working our side of the restaurant) didn't even get our drink orders correct, water's and soda, nor timely.
It took 53 minutes to get out food, I'm pretty sure it sat in the ready window for awhile. The sandwiches and fries were all cold, like not warm, cold.
The atmosphere in there is pretty cool and I think it could be a neat place. We are just not going to be repeat customers.

One server for our entire side, bar with 10+ people and 8 tables with 4-6 people at each. Waited more than 50 minutes after ordering to receive cold burgers and cold fries. The table next to us received their food and had to ask again for their drinks. Very disappointed in this place. Perhaps more servers would help, especially ones that are attentive.
