Went to breakfast and was surprised by how quaint and nice the outdoor seating is! I got the Felix, the sandwich was the perfect size and the potatoes were crispy & delicious!

Amazing food and service.

It's a small building, but they've made such a lovely atmosphere. Staff were quick to seat and serve us and were generally lovely. The food was absolutely delicious. If we lived in the area, we would definitely visit again!

Place is cute and clean . Food is good but nothing great . Not something you’d leave and brag about . It’s average edible food . Waitress was ok , she was friendly but put no effort. The place is overpriced for what they serve. What really annoyed me is i got my ticket . Total was $58.25 . I like to use cash tip when I can . I didn’t have enough cash for full tip . So I left $5 of card tip which would have brought my total to $63.24 plus the cash I left on my table . When I got a printed receipt it said $60 . The difference is not a big deal but maybe letting your customers know you up charge (on card I assume) would be a nice touch . Many Bozeman places charge over top for less than average food and service and it’s so sad .

In town for a quick work trip and found Cateye for breakfast. Had some early morning meeting and they opened right on time. I would recommend the witch with the gravy. Service was great and really food vert tasty. Can't wait to back to try the rest of the menu.

Make sure you walk in with a smile on your face. Some of the wait staff maybe kinda reactive. A furrowed brow might result in petty behavior thrown your way.

Our favorite breakfast place in Bozeman! Giant mimosas and a lot to choose from. Also lots of choices for breakfast but our go to are the Catastrophe and The Witch. But I'll bet anything is great.  They also serve lunch. Get there early on the weekend to avoid a wait. Don't forget your cateye glasses!

Cateye is a Bozeman gem! Never disappoints, even after waiting in a line outside in freezing temps!

Absolutely phenomenal food with one of the most comfortable atmospheres I've ever been in.

Fair warning; be prepared to circle the block a few times looking for parking.

What a great place! I just happened to drive by and I loved the sign and the building, so I had to go in for breakfast. What a treat - a funky little cafe with great food and friendly service. I had eggs with bacon and Swiss on a biscuit - The Witch. Thick, crunchy bacon and excellent biscuit. I'll definitely be coming back!

Really enjoyed our visit for breakfast on a Saturday morning. We ordered a breakfast special which was a huckleberry strawberry cream cheese stuffed croissant French toast , and it was absolutely delicious. We also ordered the biscuits and gravy which was so tasty too! The atmosphere is lovely and the staff was efficient and friendly. Great spot.

Fun menu and good food.
We had the Popeye and the Cowgirl. Both were good, although the banana bread French toast was a little disappointing as it did not have as much flavor as expected.
Go early as they get busy.

Had breakfast here today and left feeling like a complete sucker.

Take a look at the picture of the food I ordered. 2 eggs, 1 piece of bread, 15ish bites of breakfast potatoes, and a cup of coffee. What would you tell me if I told you that this cost $20.50 (before tip)? You'd probably say that it's a ripoff, and you'd be right.

The only reason I ordered this stuff is because I was passing through Bozeman and assumed the portions would be much more generous for the asking price. I was in for a surprise to say the least when the plate arrived at my table. Honestly might be one of the smallest if not THE smallest plate I've seen served at a breakfast restaurant like this.

To put things in perspective, there are breakfast places in NYC, Seattle, and other HCOL cities that give more food at a lower price. To top it all off, the food for this dish wasn't anything special.

All in all, I left disappointed and $22+ poorer after my visit to Cateye. I won't go back.

Pearl took care of me! I was only 1 person and I felt special. Huckleberry Mimosa!
