As a long-time resident of the Gallatin Valley, it’s kind of refreshing to see that some things never change. The Crystal is as close to a neighborhood bar as you will find in Bozeman.

Close to Main St but off the beaten path. Inside is one large room, so can be loud. Tons of beers on tap (30?) with above average bar food. They have a rooftop area when the weather is nice. I would definitely go back.

We were treated very rudely by the guy serving at the bar on the rooftop who yelled at us to get out if we didn't know his last name without even looking at us. I was exhausted and wanted 1 beer. Was it racism? I don't know but I am Hispanic. Definitely do not recommend international people and tourists to come here. Very unfriendly and unkind people.
