Did I think that visiting Bozeman, MT would lead to me finding one of my favorite restaurant experiences? No. Did it happen? Yes. Service was very good - wait staff took orders promptly, kept water glasses filled, food arrived quickly, dishes cleared promptly, and bill arrived in timely manner. The calamari was delicious, and we especially liked the Johnny Ringo.
Chef Paul, his FOH Maddy and Sous Marcus provided a wonderful dining experience. Is it expensive? Yes. To bring the quality of fish and other ingredients to the mountain west costs money, and in the intimate environment which they work it is a necessity to keep the doors open. If you are picky, skip it. If you have an ego, skip it. Approach the staff as humans and you will be rewarded with an unrivaled experience in Bozeman.
