The perfect culmination of a wonderful dining experience and phenomenal food. You sit at the counter and get to watch a lot of this meal get created in addition to chatting with chef Paul. You then get to have your option of the best cocktails Bozeman has to offer created by Maddi. Don’t balk at the price tag, embrace the experience because you won’t be let down. I will be back here every time I’m in Bozeman because this is a top 5 restaurant in the US for me.“
“This was the second time I have been to Tanoshii. The first time I left wondering when I could have the pork ramen again. It was as good today as it was my first time, maybe even better. “After doing some comparisons, I was convinced this is the BEST sushi in town. Everything was perfectly delicious. I was especially impressed by the chief’s sashimi plate and how they used the ingredients to make fish tastes even better. Highly recommended to sit at the bar!“

“Wow! From start to finish, my evening on road for work was great! Excellent prompt service and nothing disappoints at this one. I did the filet/chicken hibachi combo and it was perfectly executed. I’ll try sushi here next time I come as there were some rolls that looked amazing.“
“I don't understand the reviews here, I've never had trouble with the staff and always love the food. It's not top ramen, they are definitely doing their broth right. It's not 5 stars on the west coast, but it is for Bozeman.Just based on other reviews it seems they tend to overcook some of their fried stuff. Maybe better to stay away from that.“
“I have eaten sushi all over the world and I have to say this place has some of the best I've ever had! Every single roll we tried was absolutely delicious, we had to go back a second time and we were only there for a weekend. The garlic oil edamame was delightful. I will dream about this place until I can go back lol.“
