est.1864 Noir Bar & Restaurant

We had a delicious meal with friends. The half chicken, short ribs, and tenderloin were all excellent. Two of us have a gluten-free diet and were extremely pleased with the menu options. We will definitely go back whenever we are in Bozeman.

It was parent visitor's weekend at MSU so it was extra loud and bustling. The food was 5 Star fantastic. We ordered everything gluten free off the menu that is a great menu because it has gluten free foods labeled as such. But then the strikes against the restaurant were that despite the short ribs being labeled GF, the server informed us right before they were coming out that they did have gluten in them which didn't work for our celiac friend of course. It was way too loud in there and echo-y. And despite the server learning we were there for a birthday, and saying we'd get a free dessert, he forgot. That was disappointing. Overall though, I'm nit picking. The food was the best! Top notch.

I had an allergic reaction in the red room and Liam got my EpiPen and saved me. Liam is the best. Great place. 10/10 would recommend. But, the wine he poured me was not my favorite. Anyways…..stop by when in Bozeman!

Came here for my birthday and Jeremy our server was amazing. Food was incredible too. We're visiting from Virginia and if we are ever back this way we will absolutely come back.

Me and my boyfriend came out of town for the first time here, and everything from the food to the service was incredible! Jude, our server was very friendly and knowledgeable, helped us chose his personal favorites on the menu. We loved the bison and the steelhead trout. Great old fashioned as well!
