I was in town for a fly fishing trip a few weeks ago and had an amazing experience at Heist. I was extremely impressed with the entire staff. They exemplified hospitality throughout our entire meal. We walked in, had no reservation and were very lucky that there were two seats open at the kitchens open fire grill seating. Everything was beautiful. Ambiance, food, service and decor. Obviously they went all out and didn't spare any money on the details. I am sure the bar construction alone was a 250000 expense. Beautiful.
HOWEVER buyer beware. Extremely expensive and hard to justify in my mind the prices they charge. To add insult to injury they have a credit card fee if you don't pay cash. You need to walk around with a bag of cash. Give me a break! I suspect everyone in the restaurant...

If you're looking for a five-star steakhouse experience, then this is the place. Everything was delicious. We had the tomahawk for two, Rockefeller oysters, salad, and butterscotch dessert.
