Cute place to get drinks and some charcuterie. Loved the spicy mustard there, and the NA drinks were delicious

I first want to clarify that I ate at the Plonk in Missoula, not Bozeman. For some reason the one in Missoula doesn’t show up on here, so my review of it is going here. Their Missoula menu doesn’t have very many vegan options, but the vegan options they do have are absolutely delicious. The portions were small though…apparently that’s normal for high-class restaurants. For the starter, I ordered the fried tomatoes, then the edamame cakes for the entrée, and lastly, the strawberry mint chocolate ganache for dessert, which was DI-VINE. The dessert was definitely my favorite course of the night. Hopefully they’ll add more vegan options soon.

Trendy yet relaxed wine bar with surprisingly creative food. I had seared scallops with a corn purée — delicate but flavorful. The cocktail list is strong too, with bartenders who actually know their craft. Feels like a touch of city style in mountain country.

As a board member of Hope & The Holidays, I want to extend our sincere thanks to Plonk Wine for their generous donation to our recent silent auction. Their support helped us raise vital funds that will go toward supporting families in need this holiday season.

Plonk is more than a wine bar—it’s an experience. With its stunning venue, eclectic music, and a menu that celebrates the union of food, wine, and art, Plonk offers a sensory escape right in the heart of downtown Bozeman. Whether you're enjoying a cocktail after work or indulging in a multi-course meal in their private cellar, the atmosphere is always warm, elegant, and inviting.

We’re incredibly grateful for their partnership, and we encourage everyone to support local businesses like Plonk that bring beauty, generosity, and connection to our community.

I went here with 3 of the loves of my life! Me and these 30 year old divas were excited for a night on the town. On the prowl for a sweet treat post-sushi we came to one of our favorite stomping grounds to play. The drinks were delectable, the service was spotty, and the dessert was a disappointing.
Two of us were naughty and ordered alcoholic drinks, and two of us played it cool with a virgin GFC and an evening tea.
We were excited to see a sumptuous menu of gluten free delecacies on the dessert menu and swiftly order two despite being one water glass down. The drinks filled our our womanly wiles, while the desserts left our spirits empty and our pallates untitilated.
The classic creme brulee is best left classic- we could have done without a bowl of jam beneath a crispy measly morsel of brulee.
The deconstructed cobbler left even more to be wanted in the form of a cobbler. It was almost as delectable as the week old fridge granola one of us gals makes for her toddlers from the leftovers of the week.
A bright spot of the experience was the desserts were so sub-par we were laughing harder than any of us have in months. Not so fun? One of my gal pals laughed so hard she choked :(
3/5 this time. We will be back for a chance at 5/5 next time ;)

Great place. A bit pricey but the quality is good. I would go back for sure. Good salad, entree, dessert, and cocktails. Pleasant service, and enjoyable atmosphere.

I booked Plonk’s private wine cellar for a celebration dinner. The menu was a fixed four-course meal priced at $100 per person. We provided our menu preferences in advance and signed a contract. Prior to the event, I was asked if we’d be interested in adding a wine pairing, to which I agreed.

The night of the dinner, the room was decorated beautifully, but the service left much to be desired. No chef or sommelier came out to introduce the courses or discuss the wine pairings, which I would have expected for this type of experience. Several guests had their plates cleared while they still had more than half of their entrées remaining. We assumed the dishes were being boxed up, but they were simply discarded. We were told that we had the room booked for the entire evening so it seemed odd that the meal was rushed.

When the bill arrived, we were shocked to see we had been charged for eight bottles of wine — one for each guest — despite two members of our group not drinking wine. It seems the restaurant assumed the entire table would participate in the wine pairing, but this quantity and pricing were never clearly stated in the original contract. A serious communication issue.

On top of that, a 20% service charge was added for gratuity. While I understand service charges for large parties, the combination of a set menu, poor service, and an uncommunicated wine charge of over $500 made this feel undeserved.

Overall, I can’t help but feel we may have been given subpar service (and perhaps even taken advantage of) because we were from out of town.

Had the Cioppino and wasn't disappointed although it was a bit small if you're very hungry. Service was great and just the right amount of portions. Upper bar was closed but overall would recommend.

Plonk was a very nice quiet dinner on a one-night weeknight stop in Bozeman. Quality food (steak salad was solid), great service and classy atmosphere. Great wine list. Loved it!

Went for an after-dinner drink here on a date. Great service, atmosphere, and drinks! Can’t speak to the food since we didn’t get any. I liked the pisco drink I got!
