The Nova Café Reviews
We were in the restaurant for 45 min, went to the other side to get our endless coffee, paid there and took it back to thetable. . Couldn't get a refill from any waitress. We're there for an hour and half before our food came. Would not recommend it.
Went a few week ago during lunch, sat down and waited 30 min for biscuits and gravy. Decided to give it another shot today, Just called in an order for eggs, corn tortillas and 2 pieces of bacon and waited 30, eventually having to ask for a refund, missing my lunch and not being able to eat. I understand having to wait, especially late morning, but what I ordered should not take the time it took. I’ll definitely be checking out the other breakfast places in town
We were there as a group of 9. The food took a little while to arrive but absolutely hands down worth the wait!!! From sausage and biscuits to vegan bowls. Everything was delicious!!

The Nova Café is a vibrant breakfast and lunch spot located right on Main Street in downtown Bozeman. It offers a separate vegan menu, featuring dishes like tacos with a half chia waffle and huevos ranchero. The food is known for being very good, with plentiful ingredients and fresh flavors. One standout dish is the chia waffle, served with raspberry coulis, coconut "butter," and fresh fruit, and it is beautifully presented. Customers describe the atmosphere as energetic yet welcoming, with colorful ambiance and walls adorned with art from local artists.
The coffee is exceptional, and chai teas and mochas are considered the best in town. The café proudly claims its ability to cater to vegans, with multiple options marked as can be made vegan. Everything is tasty, making Nova a great find in a town with few brunchy vegan options. Portions are generous, often leaving customers with leftovers, and the friendly staff contributes to the welcoming atmosphere. While prices may be on the higher side, the quality of the food and the cozy vibe make it worthwhile. There’s usually a short wait for breakfast, but many find the experience well worth it.
