“Know what, this place surprised me in a good way! Good variety and service and sensible pricing for the location. Had both an early breakfast and dinner here and both times, everything tasted good and is possibly the most value for money restaurants inside the glacier national park. Definitely expect a lot of crowd during peak dining hours. Recommend if you are on the east side of the national park.”

For any white tourists that stop, please make an effort to get to know the beautiful people that live in the community and frequent this store. I was embarrassed that 3/3 tables of passers-thru spoke to no one at all. Meanwhile nearly every local was friendly and interesting.”

“The coffee here is good and the have a nice snack selection for going on a hike. The only disappointment was there no hot chocolate! It would be a great thing to have by the lobby fire at the end of the day and go with the hotels Swiss theme.”

“Rarely has Subway been a standout experience, but the employees here are top-notch! We came with our family of five, including a very particular preschooler. The employees took it in stride and worked to make her sandwich just the way she likes it, all with a smile on their faces.”

“Ptarmigan Dining Hall, as other restaurants from similar National Park hotels, I think is a must. The room is spectacular, high ceilings, old pictures, wooden beams.
Service is good, understanding this was the last day of the season.
We went twice, for dinner and breakfast. Dinner was very good, with options of fish, meat or pasta. I always try to try new plates or plates from the region, so I tried the bison short rib. Ended trying many bison dishes and this one was probably on the very top. Well cooked.
Service is a bit patchy but OK.
Pricing I thought wasn't bad.”
