After a long day of hiking, this is the best spot in town that’s limited for dinner options. I had buffalo wings with fries and a PBR. The wings and the fries were fresh and crispy.
We went here last summer but still felt Kips deserved a late review. A local farmer at the lodge recommended it as he loved seeing locals and travelers conversing over beer and pizza. He was right. The outside appearance is deceiving but really is unpretentious and staff was super nice and down to earth. Pizza was really tasty and they had a nice selection of beers. Capper was seeing families , young folk and old enjoying themselves- conversing. Thanks to the local farmer...
I enjoyed my visit here in the last week of September. It’s late in a seasonal location that was busier than expected with nice weather so they don’t have everything but I enjoyed what I had. Lilly the bartender was spectacular and so very kind. Has a nice cat too (yeah weird thing to say in bar restaurant review but we talked cats big and small).
