Good drinks, amd food. Good time swapping hiking stories and meeting people. Friendly atmosphere. Can get drinks to go, eat or just drink. Dining room menu is available to eat at the bar. Bar seating and general seating. Limited drinks and offerings but you are in the middle of a National park in the middle of no where so it’s all in context. After a long day of hiking we decided to try this local place. We ordered the chicken breast and rice. The chicken was extremely tender, and well cooked. Everything we ate was delicious. We even had some huckleberry ice cream afterwards, which I definitely recommend. Great atmosphere, amazing food, and decent service. It was a must visit. Would eat there again.

We got there just before the dinner rush. Drink service was slow and once our cocktails came out they tasted like water with a hint of flavor. I instead ordered a beer and our server nicely took the cocktails off our tab without asking. The server was friendly and the food was decent, but overpriced for what it was which I suppose is to be expected in a park. There aren't views of the lake like there are in the Ptarmigan lounge.
