We read a lot of details about poor service and long wait times, but we experienced none of that and had overall really good food. And the view from the dining room rivals almost every other restaurant in the world.

Great place to stop for a nice meal but isn’t overly fancy and is pretty quick. We were able to get a table in a few minutes at a busy time. Cheesesteak and black bean burger were great.

This was an amazing experience unexpectedly. Food was really good and the service was great too. Both our hostess and server were humble. Plan ahead since it gets crowded and there’s a line even before opening.

This is a National Park restaurant, not a privately owned one. We were told the wait was 20 mins, it was almost an hour. My guess is they were understaffed as there were empty tables and a waiting list. The trout was dry and did not match the menu description. The asparagus was the best thing on my plate. Our mistake for staying and eating there. There is a lovely view of the mountains.

4 of us went on a busy Friday night around 6pm.

Took a while to get a table; they initially told us a 20 minute wait but we waited about 40 minutes.

Once seated, it took a while for orders to be placed and after we finished eating, even longer to get our bill (we sat at the table with empty plates for over 30 minutes watching others get the bill and be served). During the meal, when the food was served, it was very good but a little cold.

The interior is clean and nice. The restaurant staff were kind, but this place was definitely understaffed for a Friday night. Shame on the owners to have three people working, one at front of house and only two to bus tables. I seriously hope they aren’t underpaid.

The potentially beautiful atmosphere is slightly ruined from the obviously stressed workers. Upper management/owners need to do better.

Food was good, service was strange. Guy running the kitchen would bark out orders to the cooks so the whole place could hear. He was also getting really intimate with the hostess. Strange.

Not sure what happened but our food was terrible. Manager blamed it on delivery. We ordered a large Caesar salad - it was a bunch of shredded lettuce (not romaine) with a bunch of small croutons and almost no dressing. Upon request the manager brought dressing. And we ordered a half rack of ribs that were SO OVERCOOKED that they were inedible. I’ve included photos. I asked the manager if this was normal, he said no and said he would get a new one. He came back shortly and said they all looked like that and offered a different meal. We got the brisket which was tender and quite ok. So on the positive side the manager tried to address the situation. I would suggest if you eat here asked the waiter what is ok that day.

Our waitress Kara did a fantastic job. The food was fantastic. Hands down the best restaurant I've eaten at this Vaca. I had the Mt Man BBQ it was super good large portion fed my son and I. The huckleberry lemonade was perfect. We all loved it. I've paid double the price and not had food this good or service and the view was to die for.

We tried to keep our expectations low, and this restaurant just blew it out of the park! We absolutely loved our experience here after exploring some of Glacier National Park that day. We both had the wagyu burger! It was amazing! Juicy, flavorful and delicious! So far this is the best food we have experienced in the park.

My brisket sandwich was chard to the point it was uneatable. The kitchen closed after I received my plate. Feel as though they just slammed the burned leftover brisket on a bun to get out an order. Do not recommend the brisket sandwich.

Squeezed us in and may have stayed open late as us and another big party arrived late in the day for a meal. Great food and my kids even enjoyed it!

We had a good dinner here after hiking. The menus a little small but the food made up for it. We especially enjoyed the baked potatoes. Special thanks to Kara for putting up with our borderline dementia guest and refilling his mountain splash.
