What a gem of a place! It is an absolute must for locals and visitors alike. The ham steak that my sister ordered was outstanding! Not too salty with the perfect smokey flavor, their slabs of sourdough toast were also amazing. I enjoyed my scrambled eggs. The ONLY reason I gave the food 3 stars, and this is my fault for ordering them, was the pancakes. I am a pancake connoisseur (lol) so I'll give everyone some pancake advice. Unless you have a never fail recipe (IHOP, Pig n Pancake, etc.) just use Krusteaz. So many things can go wrong in the chemistry of a pancake. Bad baking powder can leave them tasting weird. If you're in doubt, add some vanilla, and it will ease any bitterness.
We'll definitely return because they have a ton of good stuff on the menu, including my personal favorite, corned beef hash, and eggs.

Serving a great selection of scratch made home style breakfast, lunch, and dinner meals. All the favorites and prepared just as good if not better than your mother's! Breakfast omelet was great. Biscuits and gravy were perfect. Wish lived closer as would be a new favorite.

A quintessential small town type diner “greasy spoon” in a great way. Hearty portions of typical diner breakfasts. Plus eggs Benedict with more meat than ever had before on that dish. If you like pancakes and the taste of birthday cake or waffles get their “Sweet Cream cakes” in place of the regular pancakes. Corned beef hash was good. Didn’t care for the gravy for Biscuits and Gravy as it had little flavor as though they used water instead of milk and bland. Prices are cheap and portions are huge so it’s a great deal. Good strong coffee too. Friendly staff and memorabilia on wall makes it quirky. Plan ahead: Closed Mondays and Tuesdays and only cash accepted

This is just the cutest place! My husband and I loved our food. Amazing food. We loved the biscuits and gravy, the breakfast potatoes, and the sourdough toast. It’s also the most reasonably priced breakfast we may have ever purchased. The portions were great. My husband loved his coffee. Overall it was just wonderful. The decor and vintage memorabilia really added to our enjoyment. The service from our sweet waitress was also great. We’ll definitely be back!
