“Fantastic meal! Portions were great and taste was excellent! We got appetizers, meals, and desserts and they were all very yummy! We can’t wait to go back and try the other things on the menu. Everything brought out to the other tables looked so good too! We could hear the tables around us raving about the food they got as well.”

The brunch menu is very well put-together with very fresh and bright dishes. The Toasty Croissant with whipped feta was lovely! Especially with a pineapple mimosa. Will definitely come again!”

“Ok, we were greated by a very intoxicated, red eyed man and then a woman that were leaving the bar. It was around 5pm. We stopped by just for a beer. There was a wild party hardy bunch inside having fun. The staff was so nice. All in all good place to stop for a beer.”

“I would recommend going to Spuds. Great customer service & a great atmosphere. Spuds is under new ownership & have also done some remodeling.To the guy Kevin who gave Spuds a poor review, you must think that the new owners are a threat to other bars in Butte.”

“Host was wonderful as well as server except that server didn’t know the menu or what was being served, was offered soup or salad but no soup available, calamari was delicious however our main courses fell flat, halibut wasn’t cooked throughly and pasta was reheated. Atmosphere nice and quiet”

“Great local place. No food to speak of but the drinks are plentiful and inexpensive. Staff are great. Other patrons are very nice.

They have a poker game with mostly locals who play against/with each other regularly. Not an entirely professional game but still fun. If I am in Butte again, I'd definitely go back.”

“Denise is an amazing conversationalist who I fully enjoyed getting to know over conversations regarding education, sociology and growing up in the 70's.
I would have / will ask her out but still not sure about the ring on her left finger (I'm old fashion on that front).

“Restaurant was clean. Decor was nice. Staff was friendly and really on it. Salad bar was great, had all the right stuff! Chicken was some of the best I've ever had. Pizza was all thin crust and just ok. Good prices for what you get!”

“I've been going to this place since my birthday...I was 5. My grandfather Bill Fleming (Finnegan Electric) said to order anything...it was a lobster tail as big as a cauliflower! EVERY time I'm in Butte this is my go to. I tell people whenever we talk food about this place and the memories my family shared. I'm now 59.. Ruth's Chris has nothing on Lydia's! There were other supper clubs, in Butte at the time...just goes to show that only the strong survive...and if you're a Butte local, you know what that means!”

“We usually have very good food here. However the meat loaf last night was the exception. It was dry with not flavor and topped with too much ketchup. The scalloped potatoes and ham really wasn't a good fit. We brought most of it home.”

“Our friend, Pam, stopped at this pub as she was passing through Butte. We were traveling a couple days behind her so she contacted us to recommend it. We're so glad we stopped in. We met the owners, Kyle and Jean. We had a bit of Wisconsin background to share with them and felt like we were back home.Our hearty pub burgers were excellent. Just what we were in the mood for. They have lots of seating. We chose to eat and have a beer at the bar and met a couple of "regulars" and had great conversation. We highly recommend The Homestake Pub. “Went to The Hitchin Post last night with my family. We had the fried chicken, the sirloin steak with blue cheese and huckleberry sauce and the New York. All were fantastic as was the service. I would recommend it to anyone.”

The food was great, they even had little snack containers and coloring sheets for children (which if you have kids you know how rambunctious they are before food arrives and these snacks and coloring sheets helped so much for that!!) I was very polite and wanted some coffee for the morning and she got up and moved didn't even say anything. “This was our second time going to the Party Palace. Both times were on a Saturday night. Great pool tables with no charge to play and a lot of great pool players. The Kareoke was fun to watch, but the singers were too good for us to try! The bartenders kept up with the crowd and were friendly. Prices were reasonable and running a tab was not a problem. Located in uptown so easy walking distance to hotels, restaurants, and more.”

The liver was tender the fries and gravy were out of this world tastie. The put in a sauce of bacon which was different, my pooch enjoyed that. As I am old and bacon is hard for me to chew. I have often went to this diner for coffee and breakfast in the past. This I believe was the first time I had ordered from the dinner menu. I look forward to doing it again.
