“This was an incredibly lucky find, especially as we found it about an hour before closing time, yay for us! We really wanted a fresh salad in what appears to be a desert for anything but meat or bar food. We walked in and the first thing we saw was freshly baked bread loafs followed by an incredible farm to table menu. The soup of the day was fresh tomato soup. It had pieces of freshly grilled tomatoes in there also the pintler grilled cheese, which had fresh ingredients from the beefsteak or heirloom tomatoes to the pesto and the blue salad, so refreshing! Great ambiance with adequate volume of music and music selection and great service. We were blown away! Absolute, hands down recommend especially if you need a break from burgers and fried stuff!“
“Wow!!!!! There aren't any great options for breakfast where we are currently staying/visiting so we decided to drive to Melrose for a Sunday breakfast! So worth the drive. The building itself is so cute and staff were very welcoming. Coffee was spot on. Everything was cooked to perfection and delicious. We had the eggs with a side and French toast. Loved it all but I must say The French toast topped the cake for me!!!! I love sweets! This French toast was filled with flavor with every bite I took! I also loved how it was cooked! Most places over cook French toast....not here!!! We are already thinking of returning to try their lunch or dinner menu!!!! I didn't take photos because I was too busy enjoying my food.“
“Food was amazing we tried the appetizer boxtee top seller it was delicious. Fish and chips were bomb same with the clam chowder. My bestie got the potato pancake boxtee corned beef entree . “Atmosphere: this place is kind of like a restaurant in the middle of an antique shop. There is no shortage of things to look at. It's pretty neat! Definitely a small town diner. Service: everyone was friends. The server was there when we needed her. The food came out slow, but with an apology from the cook, which essentially great. We were a larger party and walked in right as they opened. So, we understood. Food: the food was okay. I got the 2 hot cakes, 2 bacon, and 2 eggs. The bacon was crispy and delicious, the eggs were cooked great, but I didn't love the pancakes. As you can see they were pretty light in color and the taste was just off. Almost like they were cooked on a dirty grill or a grill that wasn't fully hot before the batter was poured on, so it really just sucked up a bunch of oil or something. All-in-all it was a good breakfast and quite cheap. I don't know if I am in a huge hurry to visit again, but I also wouldn't be opposed.“
“My husband and I stopped in today to get a couple Pastys to take home with us and cook later. After we paid we were given our cold pastys to go along with a free hot one covered In gravy to try. “It was a cold ☃️ ? snowing ? day outside, we went in for a late lunch & we sat so we could watch the Cross Country ⛷️ Skiers ⛷️ out on the Golf ⛳️ Course. It was my 1st time there, I never expected to be able to watch the Skiers out doing their thing. Then inside there were ⛳️ Golfers playing in a game they were hitting the ball into a golf ⛳️ course that was on a wall. They seemed to really enjoying the game. Our food was excellent, ? our soup was hot & tasted homemade. I highly recommend "Back 9", they also have a couple of nights a week w/specials I believe one ? night ? a week the special is a steak. “Always super nice staff! Food quality is consistent. The party rooms are always nice. Birthday party packages have greatly increased in price, so we will not do that again. It's cheaper to buy everything separately. The little gift bags are not worth the upcharge.The only issue I had was when I watched the arcade attendant take out a can of chewing tobacco and consume a pouch right in front of the little kids he was assisting. He then immediately turned and grabbed a toy prize with those same fingers and handed it to one of the kids. It was a bit off-putting and kind of gross.“

“Ordered some take out this week and it was SO FANTASTIC! Had the gluten free veggie wrap and the lemon chicken and rice soup. Both were so good… two thumbs up! Items ordered online were ready within minutes of arrival and stayed hot. The cookie was a nice add - but did not see that it was gluten free, so shared it with someone. Adding a GF cookie option would be amazing! Overall, great job!“

“I go there with my family at least every other month when possible. The staff are always friendly and the food is always fantastic! Even when we do takeout the food is always hot and ready even when I get home. I've never had a problem there and would recommend it to anyone who wants to go out for a steak dinner!“
