“The restaurant has a chic atmophere, may need to upgrade the carpet or to hard flooring for cleanliness reason. There is entertainment on fridays with piano & saxophone, great for dates. The burger is real meat, no fillers with mashed up potatoes. The salmon is really cooked to perfection with mashed up potatoes. The tomatoe bisque is heartwarming. It is paired with local white wine. I was anticipating the bison steak on stick for our appetizers, but did not come. Was overlooked but I was glad because we were already stuffed from our entre, but have room to appeal our sweet palate with delectable creme brulee. Highly recommended for wholesome dining.“

“So Suds Hut is one of those places when you find it, you are excited because the food is so damn good. I’ve been in the south, east, west, and north, and I gotta say this place is on point. The chicken is absolutely fantastic. The burgers are no slouch either. I eat here every time I am in Helena. I mean it’s not the healthiest option (lol), you know because it is fried chicken, but if you don’t care or want some indulgence, go here. The chicken dinner or the burgers, but mostly the chicken, are fantastic.“

I would give it 5 stars but it's a greasy spoon diner, not a Michelin star restaurant.But most of the time the food is damn good and if you are a local, you will likely find someone you know to eat with.The breakfast is my favorite but there is good lunch and dinner options as well.I just had the 8oz sirloin for lunch and it was DEEEELISH!No extra sauce needed. “We are regulars here, dining in about once a month, usually opting for one of the specials (the chef generally offers two specials on weekends). The food is always prepared perfectly and the presentation is outstanding (far beyond what one might expect from a small restaurant in the north valley). The prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food and the portions are very (very) generous - we always have leftovers. The service is personal, fast and friendly (seems to be the same waitress each time we go, and she is always fantastic). It's 'BYOB' so you can bring your own bottle of wine (or other beverage of choice) and there is no corkage fee! All things considered (quality, quantity, service and value), this place is truly a hidden gem!“
“Great bar and service!They don't take reservations, which can be inconvenient for some. They do serve a full menu if you can get a bar seat, but only serve apps if you're seated at the bar area, but not at the bar itself.We walked in on a Saturday night during a snowstorm. We were told a 30 min wait, so put our names in and searched for a bar seat. We lucked out and got 2 right at the end. The bar tender was pretty busy, but got to us soon, and we ordered 2 drinks and an app while we waited for our table in the dining room.Our drinks and app came out quickly, and we were seated almost immediately after. Our server, Belle, was sweet as can be and chatted with us as we asked questions about Helena and her being a local.Our meal was delicious and very filling. Appropriate portions and exactly as expected.Overall fantastic experience and food!“

“Very nice place , I played poker for a couple hours and had a tasty French dip and an old fashioned, but I think the bartender did not use simple syrup or bitters lol. Poker game was fun. Place was hopping for a Tuesday. I plan on going back next Tuesday.“
“We've been coming on and off since it opened and have really appreciated the expansion of the menu. Burgers are good, cluck norris sandwhich is actually spicy and good, the chicken tenders are either AMAZING or only okay depending on who's in the kitchen, pretzels and beer cheese are always really good! It's a little pricey, but that's to be expected considering the location. Easy to eat, then hop right into the pools!“

“Well after 2 years in Helena we finally got around to trying the early bird cafe. In my opinion there aren't a lot of good restaurant choices in Helena, so I was hopeful for Early Bird.We looked online and determined that both my wife and I wanted to try the chicken fried steak, because that was supposed to be one of their best entrees, and so we were very disappointed to find that when we arrived they were totally out! At first I was going to take away a star for that but then I realized that that could happen anywhere.Instead I got the breakfast burrito, and it was large, although not quite as large as I had imagined it would be, especially compared to wife's Spanish omelette, which with her hashbrowns and toast, completely covered her plate. It was ginormous.My girls got a pancake each, and they were huge, only one of my girls finished their pancake. They were about 8" and very thick, so that was a good deal and filled them up too.They were also VERY attentive, always refilling the coffees and waters, and asking how we were doing multiple times. They got more busy around 8 am though.Overall it was a good experience, so we plan on going back for the chicken fried steak soon, and I will update this review with another when we get it.“

“This was a really fun and tasty spot. Our server was super friendly and attentive. The ambiance is like a clean dive bar meets an adult summer camp. It's low key and fun. I had the steak, which was surprisingly delicious. We had a great time here. Will definitely return when I'm in town again.“
“I'm sure it depends on the time of day, the server, etc. But, I have generally had Good Luck at this Casino. It's a game of chance. Today, I had the NY steak and eggs and it was a great, tender steak. Really good. Probably just the cut and by chance, but I don't care, it was awesome. I usually do the ham and eggs. Service was good also. I don't like the gaming and gambling, but it just drowns out in the background to me.“
“We love Steve's and eat here often. Based solely on our last visit the service is only 4 stars as our waitress forgot to put our order in. We saw the other tables come and go. We did not even get checked on by our waitress, nor could we get her attention for refill on coffee and to ask about our order. She skipped over us when refilling coffees at the other tables. After almost One Hour she quickly said our order was lost and they'd get right on it. We waited 15 more minutes and the food came out. There was no kind of compensation to us and I do believe that was wrong, she should have done something for us.“
