Based on the four reviews, Motherlode is a Sports Bar, Restaurant, and Casino with a home town feel. The atmosphere is kind of divy, but the all-wood interior is tastefully decorated. A radio station softly plays country music in the background. The service is ALWAYS friendly, with frequent coffee refills and staff who address regulars by name. The food is very good, with everything tasting like it was made in house. They have the best burgers and onion rings in town. The meatloaf and cheese burger soup were both pretty damn good. For breakfast, the biscuits and gravy featured nice, thick gravy with good spice and lightly toasted, crispy hash browns. The breakfast burrito had lots of ingredients. While some felt the meals lacked meat, the Motherlodge far exceeded expectations from a previous visit. Reasonable prices and generous portions make this a place that feels and tastes like home. It is a place to celebrate everyday wins, find comfort, or gather with friends.
