“My wife and I went to dinner at Silver Star Steak Company to celebrate her birthday. The atmosphere was amazing our server Julia was awesome, very knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. Now to the meals....my wife had the filet mignon....She stated that it was the best filet mignon she has ever had. I decided to go with the Buffalo Ribeye and I too was very pleased with my choice. To top off the meal we decided to share a slice of cheesecake topped with a Pineapple Rum Sauce.”

The drink menu is also varied, with plenty of drinks to choose from. I heard kitchen staff call waiter/ waitresses and say “please” just about every time when food was up for them to get. TYLER was the best waiter we’ve had in a long time. (And we eat out ALOT). He had our order taken in a timely fashion, we got our appetizer and not long after got our burgers and fries! He refilled our drinks without even asking! (besides myself I guess) I invited Bethany to go to lunch with me so she could experience real empathetic servers that help everyone and to witness how truly nice they are to EVERYONE, not just to their FREINDS, TIPPERS and good looking people W/$ Of COURSE she declined, no need to witness excellent service when GOOD is GOOD enough. Sorry Bethany, you are the one who is incorrect, I can not even began to list all of the wrongs done to me as a disabled individual at your business, nor do I want to relive them. WHAT STARTED Blackfootriver's HATRED TOWARD ME, YOU MAY ASK, "A CONVERSATION WITH A BARMAID" after about 3/4 - 1 year (of filling the Growler I used to have, ALSO this is THE ONLY WORKER THERE that said more than the required MEMORIZED, "can I get you a glass of beer" , as in she could and would talk to me, until a mgr would see her talking & then she would go quite. * THE CONVERSATION * ME "If you ever find that you have extra time on your hands AND you also want to add a friend, I volunteer. " BARMAID " That is the sweetest thing you could have ever said to me" Now she comes back from filling my growler and when she gets; back she grabs my money I have on the counter and disappear's into the crowd for the next 1 1/2 days....... she hides, behind workers, behind the bar, telling everyone I am the problem. Unless she has told everyone about taking my money & hiding away from me after stealing, then she is not telling Blackfoot the truth. And no, I did not get to give a tip to her like normal, it was grabbed off of the counter like some kind of ripoff. So, Bethany, in all honesty I can NOT retract my original review as it is based on 2 years of service, although I don't think Blackfootriver even KNEW I was a customer for the first year, year and half. No chairs, no tables not even a small stool for anyone who does not have working legs, and forget about a table upstairs, THOSE are stairs, not an escalator! In fact the only thing I could find you do for the disabled or more like to the disabled is to clog up the sidewalk on Park Ave. During the summer, with a bunch of drunks who do not want to move out of the way of people In wheelchairs. And THANK YOU for the trash, broken glass and vomit all over the sidewalk come Monday Morning. Sadly tonight we had a less than pleasant experience. We were able to get a table and order right away, things were looking great. Then we waited and waited and waited... The table that sat down after we ordered got their food. Then we waited and the table next to us that arrived 20 minutes after we ordered got their food. The waitress was friendly and apologetic and told us it would be 7 more minutes. Ten minutes later and over 45 minutes after we ordered our 1 chicken dinner it arrived. The chicken was good as always but we weren't offered any type of recompense for our wait and in fact were given the wrong ticket. Not sure where the error was made but do better Suds Hut! We will be thinking about this experience next time we are in town and may choose to go elsewhere.”

“After my previous review, the manager at Haps Bar took the time to investigate the incident and made sure things were made right for both the bartender and the karaoke DJ. I was encouraged to give Haps another chance, and I'm glad I did.

I stopped in on this beautiful, relaxing Friday and had an absolutely enjoyable time. Marty was tending bar evening and did a fantastic job. Not only was he attentive and friendly, but he even helped us attempt to rescue someone's pet bird, which certainly made for a memorable night.

I also want to acknowledge that I was wrong to let the unacceptable behavior of one patron negatively shape my overall opinion of the establishment. Looking back, that individual's actions did not reflect the bar, its staff, or its management.

Haps Bar has a welcoming atmosphere, great service, and genuinely caring staff. If you're looking for a place to relax, enjoy a good drink, and spend time with good company, I would definitely recommend stopping by.”

They have seating inside and It's Starbucks so you know the coffee is high quality. They have a small menu for those who want a snack a lighter breakfast/lunch. Parking can be a challenge at times. I think prices are competitive as I have visited other coffee shops around the State. So take a break and enjoy.”
