The drink menu is also varied, with plenty of drinks to choose from. I appreciated their prompt response, their affirmation that they had observed his actions too, and that they would speak to him. Unfortunately he remains rude and churlish, to the point that my office hesitates gathering there for drinks these days. I am leaving an overall positive review because the other staff is excellent, but I really hope that this person’s demeanor towards bar patrons improves.”

“Food was great. This has been our second time here. We were sat near the kitchen area and everyone seemed to work together great. I heard kitchen staff call waiter/ waitresses and say “please” just about every time when food was up for them to get. TYLER was the best waiter we’ve had in a long time. (And we eat out ALOT). He had our order taken in a timely fashion, we got our appetizer and not long after got our burgers and fries! He refilled our drinks without even asking! Place was getting busy and he was running all over! Give this guy a raise!! Hands down recommend. *****”

Sorry Bethany, you are the one who is incorrect, I can not even began to list all of the wrongs done to me as a disabled individual at your business, nor do I want to relive them. WHAT STARTED Blackfootriver's HATRED TOWARD ME, YOU MAY ASK, "A CONVERSATION WITH A BARMAID" after about 3/4 - 1 year (of filling the Growler I used to have, ALSO this is THE ONLY WORKER THERE that said more than the required MEMORIZED, "can I get you a glass of beer" , as in she could and would talk to me, until a mgr would see her talking & then she would go quite. * THE CONVERSATION * ME "If you ever find that you have extra time on your hands AND you also want to add a friend, I volunteer. " BARMAID " That is the sweetest thing you could have ever said to me" Now she comes back from filling my growler and when she gets; back she grabs my money I have on the counter and disappear's into the crowd for the next 1 1/2 days....... she hides, behind workers, behind the bar, telling everyone I am the problem. Unless she has told everyone about taking my money & hiding away from me after stealing, then she is not telling Blackfoot the truth. And no, I did not get to give a tip to her like normal, it was grabbed off of the counter like some kind of ripoff. So, Bethany, in all honesty I can NOT retract my original review as it is based on 2 years of service, although I don't think Blackfootriver even KNEW I was a customer for the first year, year and half. Nope I am positive no one there ever even ONE TIME said hello to me for the first year. *Comments* to me over (2 years time) . -"Maybe you should go sit in the street" -"Why would we need that for the disabled" -"Don't mind me cutting in front" -"Let me finish with him first, you come in here all the time" -"I didn't think you wanted anything; you were sitting in your chair" -"Go Ahead, serve them, even tho I was at the bar first" Just How Many Times Does A (disabled) Customer have to feel worthless from comments and actions? * THIS IS AN OPINION BASED ON 2 YEARS OF * Original Posting : I was wondering why your business does not have any type of disabled ANYTHING. No chairs, no tables not even a small stool for anyone who does not have working legs, and forget about a table upstairs, THOSE are stairs, not an escalator! In fact the only thing I could find you do for the disabled or more like to the disabled is to clog up the sidewalk on Park Ave. During the summer, with a bunch of drunks who do not want to move out of the way of people In wheelchairs. And THANK YOU for the trash, broken glass and vomit all over the sidewalk come Monday Morning. Thank you so much for your disability support, (I mean REALLY, not even a chair) ; and OH WELL, for reccommending your business to any family or friends, this, coming from a 3rd generation Montanan in their later years, with hundreds of family & friends. “We always stop for chicken when we come to town. It's always delicious! We always plan for a bit of a wait for a table and a bit more of a wait for food, but the chicken is worth it. Sadly tonight we had a less than pleasant experience. We were able to get a table and order right away, things were looking great. Then we waited and waited and waited... The table that sat down after we ordered got their food. Then we waited and the table next to us that arrived 20 minutes after we ordered got their food. The waitress was friendly and apologetic and told us it would be 7 more minutes. Ten minutes later and over 45 minutes after we ordered our 1 chicken dinner it arrived. The chicken was good as always but we weren't offered any type of recompense for our wait and in fact were given the wrong ticket. Not sure where the error was made but do better Suds Hut! We will be thinking about this experience next time we are in town and may choose to go elsewhere.”

I stopped at this particular location on my way back to Great Falls after working the weekend in Helena. I was beyond anxious for my drive after the major snow storm (I'm Montana born, raised, and lived here my whole life, but it still never gets easier).
The gals here are so sweet, thank you for the words of encouragement, and thank you for saying a prayer. I made it back safely ♥️

“Stopped over after doing laundry next door and felt like we were home. We were welcomed by Brent, Shawna and Kevin and made to feel like a local. We enjoyed a few drinks at the bar, shared stories with them all and enjoyed our morning, bought some merchandise to proudly wear on our trip and left feeling welcomed. Great local long standing establishment. They have keno machines, karaoke some nights and horseshoes out back. Couldn’t think of any better way to start off our 4th of July.”

They have seating inside and It's Starbucks so you know the coffee is high quality. They have a small menu for those who want a snack a lighter breakfast/lunch. Parking can be a challenge at times. I think prices are competitive as I have visited other coffee shops around the State. So take a break and enjoy.”
