“So glad to have Buck’s back. The Red Deer is as good as I remember. Ryan was an excellent server. Several of the management folks as well as the “meat guy” stopped by to chat. For my vegetarian wife the gnocchi dish was a huge hit!!“
“Road trip from WI to MT. Skied at Big Sky and went here each of four days for lunch. Given your timing on the slopes, we had small, if any lines, good quality and fair price. The patio vibe was very nice as was the view of Lone Peak. Bartenders were very nice and attentive. A great break in the day to replenish the carb burn!“

“I’ve lived in NYC, LA and now Eugene, OR (the latter mention for quality of farm raised meat). I’ve eaten at a lot of “great restaurants”.
The meal I just had tonight was one of the best I can remember. Small but mighty and smoky corn chowder and the Huckleberry brined chicken. I don’t think I’ve ever had a better cooked piece of chicken. The whole, stewed huckleberries were an amazing taste pairing. Barley risotto was also fantastic.
Especially coming in near close, when the kitchen staff could be mailing it in, I was super impressed. Shout out to my bartender/server for the perfect amount of attentiveness.“

“My husband, daughter and I had dinner at Tanglewood last night and we had the most wonderful experience. First, our waitress Chloe was so nice and helpful. Second, the food was just fantastic. But at the end of our meal something happened that has never happened to us before. Our tab was paid by someone else in the restaurant. They wanted to remain anonymous but I so wish we could express how touched we were. What a generous thing to do. We will definitely pay it forward. Thank you so much. This restaurant is now our favorite!!“

“This place is a great buffet especially if you are a college kid. We got lucky and had military ID's so we had a nice discount. The food was great and there was lots of seating. Only bad part was the Mongolian BBQ was closed. The bathrooms were also like mazes (at least the men's restroom). Overall this buffet gets a five star because it is amazing.“

“I had a great experience yesterday afternoon. Be aware, the Happy Hour prices have changed! I was surprised as the waitress didn’t mention it. But when I asked about my bill she was so sweet & helpful. The manager came & took care of it right away. I so appreciate their quick & friendly attention to a problem. I’ll be back! The waitstaff always make me feel welcome. Keep up the good work OC.“
