Silver Dollar Saloon in Butte, Montana is the true definition of an old school dive bar. Walking into the bar you can just feel and see the tremendous history of Butte as well as many musicians and artists from around the world. First, COVID times when I visited, so maybe the bar is different than normal times. I literally believe the owner is living in the bar. That is not a judgment. COVID sucks.I loved this place. Walked in, and it was only the owner and his friend. I think they were surprised to have someone in the bar they had never seen before, but they quickly cleaned up the bar top, smiled, and grabbed us some beers.
