Matt's is a legendary burger joint in Butte that really represents good ingredients, great service and a blast from the past. The parking lot here ins't too big and there aren't many seats inside, but it's totally worth going in here. They won a James Beard award a few years back and it shows why. Their prices are actually pretty good considering the portion and quality you get, and the nut burger is delicious (yes it's weird but worth trying). Very nice place! Google says they are not open for dine in, but they are. The place was very clean. The service was impeccable! They make their own ice cream. The burger was juicy and not bland. The fries OMG amazing. Onion rings were hot and crispy. We were the only ones there, but by the time we left it was very busy. For the same price as Wendy's or McDonald's you can get real food that is so much better! I highly recommend Matt's place.

Fantastic little old fashioned diner where the original family owners still cook the food on their own. I got the double cheeseburger and it was perfect ... rivaled a double double at In-n-Out Burger...the owners were very nice and polite and spotted me a dollar since it was cash only and I only had a $20...great people and great food.
