Husband ordered a chocolate shake, but was given a huckleberry shake instead. We let the girl that took our order know. She was immediately defensive and claimed she confirmed Huckleberry when she read the order back. No offer to make things right, and immediately shut the window in our face. Visiting this establishment is usually a highlight of our annual trip to Butte. Sad to say this experience left a bad taste in our mouths (literally). I even tipped her when I paid….and for what..?

I had great food & experience, but I will focus on just one thing: this places serves beautifully made traditional ice cream sodas with REAL FRUIT syrup. These are very hard to find in this region. The staff are a bit confused when you order it, but there’s def instructions in the back. They were perfect, and really let the ice cream do the sweetening, so it starts mild, lightly sweet & transforms as the ice cream melts. On the syrups, I’ve made them homemade, these can’t be purely that, the cost would be much higher, but I would guess they use both flavoring & chunks of fruit. Plenty of strawberries got caught in the straw (part of the experience!) and the 2nd night I bought two ice cream sodas for myself, and I did catch a raspberry seed in my partial, again that is GOOD. Freaking delicious, tbh I may never eat anywhere else in butte lol.

Great little hometown burger joint with many ice cream options I had the chocolate malt it was delicious so it was my burger and the onion rings are fantastic! The girl that took my order was sweet kind and efficient and the food came out quickly! Great job I'll be back

Yum!!!! Just try it, you'll understand why's there's always a line of people waiting to get a treat from this place
A tiny little place right along the main street. It does have a convenient drive up window on the street side. In business since 1947 it is built quite a following. On my visit there is probably three or four cars in line all the time +6-8 people at the window. The service was good. The milkshake was plenty thick enough and the french fries weren’t cooked as much as I like them, but they were still tasty. This is a kind of businesses built on the backbone of America.
