Great little hometown burger joint with many ice cream options I had the chocolate malt it was delicious so it was my burger and the onion rings are fantastic! The girl that took my order was sweet kind and efficient and the food came out quickly! Great job I'll be back

A tiny little place right along the main street. It does have a convenient drive up window on the street side. In business since 1947 it is built quite a following. On my visit there is probably three or four cars in line all the time +6-8 people at the window. The service was good. The milkshake was plenty thick enough and the french fries weren’t cooked as much as I like them, but they were still tasty. This is a kind of businesses built on the backbone of America.

Serving nostalgic Americana soda-shoppe foods, Bonanza Freeze is definitely a Butte favorite. Along with burgers and chicken, they also have turkey and vegetarian options. They have a wonderful variety of milkshakes and frozen treats - even malts! If you're a fried pickle fan, the ones here are the dill spears rather than chips, which is definitely different than what I've found elsewhere and absolutely delicious! May be a bit congested at peak times, but the food is worth the wait if you have the time.
