I had an overnight in Helena and wanted good food. I check local listings and Cafe Zydeco popped up. I reviewed the menu online and I was hooked! The food was extremely good. I've been to New Orleans many times and this food holds up to anything from the Big Easy! Thank you for very good, tasty food!!

Disappointing experience. I was excited to see they had newly added a Lobster Roll to their menu. Imagine my disappointment when the Lobster Roll turned out to be Krab salad on a hoagie bun?! Terrible! Even my very forgiving husband said it was awful. He, however was very pleased with the catfish and fried green tomato Po boy, and my son was equally pleased with his fried chicken Po boy. My parents enjoyed the jambalaya. Only luke-warm about the red beans and rice. Portion size...

Pretty good red beans and rice. A large and varied menu. Next visit will take more time to investigate some of the other menu offerings. Quick service, clean and tasty Cajun food in Helena, Montana. Need a new picture. That one is of old location.
