Ordered two soft tacos...the meat was tasteless both tacos were cold. Never again!!!

The food has gone downhill. Everything is either very bland or very overseasoned making it hard to eat. The place also smells highly of chemicals. I can appreciate a clean place but when the smell of ammonia is abundant while eating it interferes with being able to enjoy a meal.

Would love to try this place but 11-7 are tough hours for working people. Only Taco Bell sells tacos after 7pm.

You should think about staying open later.

I asked for fresh spicy spuds so they were crunchy and hot. They acted like they had a problem and I got cold ones. I couldn’t eat them because they were soggy and cold The nacho cheese was warmer than the potato! not recommended for any kind of non-attitude service thanks guys always help my craving.

New ownership sucks, the food sucks now, the soft tacos are very small and they got the entire order wrong.

Crock pot plain chicken and beef, Zero spices, and PACE Picante mild salsa. Fajitas= lettuce and plain beef on a tortilla. Enchilada = cheese and chicken, no salsa.
LOL, sadly the worst Mexican food I have had in years. Nice galls making it.

Worst restaurant in Butte! 30 min to get two cold and broken tacos. Asked for refund and they refused “We never provide refunds”. BBB is my next stop. Really bad service from a business founded in 1972. What a joke! Theft of service!

Stopped in on local recommendation. Not a good choice. Ordered a beef enchilada with lettuce, tomato and black olives. I'm not sure what the red sauce was. It tasted like tomato sauce with some hot sauce in it. It was cold when it arrived at the table. The chips included were even cold.

Ordered a chicken soft taco. Cold as well, the cheese didn't even melt inside! Chicken was dry. Both tortillas were cold, not even heated!! One and done here... positive, staff was friendly and place was clean.

We’ve eaten there twice since change of ownership. The old El Taco is back! It was CLEAN. The food was FRESH. The employees were not stoned 😂. I’m so happy, it is so good again!!

We had a great lunch from here this week. The service was great, and the food was absolutely delicious. Everything was prepared perfectly, and the spuds with nacho cheese and sour cream is my favorite!! I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to others!

Was my kids and my favorite mexican fast food place. However, now with doc, the founder not running it. The standards have dropped, and they have cut portions and recently raised prices. They don't steam the tortillas anymore. Its just rushed with little care it seems, And the meat and cheese portions have cut in half the ground beef has some dried burnt pieces in it and are favorite. The shredded steak is way salty now. And the spicy spuds are not the same at all and not very good . Really sad that another butte stable has gone completely downhill, and at this rate, I could sadly see them closed within the next year or too.
