We were staying in Butte to break up our trip to Billings from NW Montana. Decided to try this place for dinner and boy did it come through. It was busy but we got a seat right away. Chips, salsa and waters were delivered immediately and the salsa was tasty. Our server Sky was amazing and quick to take our drink order. We both opted for a Corona with lime hey we're eating Mexican food!!We both ordered a combo plate. His was a chili rellano, chalupa, rice and beans. I had cheese enchilada, taco, rice and beans. He remarked how good everything was but the rice was a little dry, I had to agree. The food, ambiance and service was perfect. We left with full bellies and loved the experience. We know next time we'll eat here again. Just a note our server Sky was probably the best one we've encountered in a long time. You could tell she loved here job, was good at it and we definitely tipped her accordingly. Good job!!

Terrible. Both entrees were luke warm at best. Waitress took them nack and came back with them "heated". Now just barely warmer - with wolted lettuce and warm sour cream. Gross. We paid and left. Never again

Came here yesterday and stood at the counter for several minutes. The tall gal with curly hair walked past us 3 times and did not even acknowledge us. Finally another server seated us a there we sat for about 15 minutes. No water, no chips, nothing. We finally just got up and left. The rude server was just standing behind the counter. Didn't even acknowledge us as we left. She very clearly doesn't care about customers or doing a good job as it wasn't busy.

We couldn't get into this place the first night we tried. The wait list was over an hour. So obviously it's a popular place for the locals. We went very early the next night and had better luck. I personally didn't see the appeal, but the food was okay. We ordered a chile relleno, beef enchilada, taco, beans and rice. Everything was good, but I didn't care for the chile relleno at all. It was wrapped in an egg instead of fried like it is traditionally. I can't eat eggs, so that didn't help. We tried a fried ice cream rolled in what looked like corn flakes, not impressed. We even tried a sopapilla. They obviously don't know what sopapilla means in English, because this wasn't it at all. The dinner was passable. But nothing to get excited about.

On a road trip and I had to have Mexican. Stopped in Butt Montana based on Yelp reviews of course. They has my favorite dish, favorite drink and the service was over the top. What more could you ask for?

The service is great but the food is lacking. Had the chili Colorado burrito combo and the meat had lots of gristle and tasted dry even though it was drenched in sauce. The sauce was almost brown instead of the red I'm accustomed to. The flavor was just okay. The salsa was bland and more tomato sauce flavor then anything else. The decor is lovely with different art at each table, chair and booth. They need to put more effort into the food though.

Love the food but when did you start charging for sour cream and guacamole for a burrito? Cost an extra $7.50 and when ask if I would like a refill on my soda that was still 1/4 full I was charged another $2.50! Ouch!!!!

The restaurant side of Three Amigos is a charming little place, with mariachi music and classic murals of south of the boarder. Greeted as you walk in and seated promptly, chips and salsa, with water delivered straight away by the friendly hosts make for a great dining experience. The food was good, my dad really enjoyed the pork tamales. i definitely recommend Three Amigos.

Service was very good and the food was good, too. I will return. I had the taco salad and my husband had camarones a la crema.

Service has always been hit or miss and food is marginal at best. They honestly need to spend more time with food prep, because each time we have been we have had to spend considerable time removing grissel and fat from the food. The only dish that I have had at 3 Amigos that wasn't poor quality meat was chicken fajitas.

I've always had great experiences with the service and the great food here until tonight. I tried to order a frozen strawberry daiquiri, and they asked for my ID. I handed the server my ID, and he took it and gave it back. Then the manager lady with long hair and glasses (we think her name is Tamara) came over and said her server wanted to confirm it. She took my ID and immediately said, "This is a fake." Me and Everyone else at the table were very confused because my ID was, in fact, real. So we told her it was not a fake, and she said, "yes, the birds are a dead giveaway that it's a fake," then she pulled out a stack of other fakes to show us. We later looked at some of our friends who have under 21 IDs which also have the birds, so huh???? She said, "I can get the cops down here to look at it." I said she should call them, and they could confirm my ID is real. We asked her to scan the ID, and she told us they didn't have a scanner. She also got angry at my cousin, who was trying to stand up for me, who told her to call the cops. Tamara said that my cousin didn't have to be so rude as she was trying to do her job. Then she took my ID with her. We got someone else to bring my passport to the restaurant, so we had a second form of ID. Once we asked to talk to the owner, Tamara tried to say she ran it through her system, and it cleared EVEN THOUGH she initially said they didn't have anything to scan it. She also tried to say that she told us she had to check if it was real and that she never outright accused me of handing her a fake. We finally got our drinks and then were able to leave.

We used to love Three Amigos. As a matter of fact, we loved Melaque because of Rodrigo, the owner. It all changed tonight when Tamara, the female manager accused my 21 year old daughter of using a fake ID. She not only confiscated her ID, she threatened to call the police on her! To call this women a psycho B$&@h would be an understatement. She publicly embarrassed my daughter and her friends for no reason except to prove that she is the the all powerful server at Three Amigos! My wife had to go down to the restaurant to get my daughter's ID back and Tamara lied to her about what happened. After Rodrigo, the owner, got involved she still refused to apologize to my daughter or her friends. Although we love the food at Three Amigos and really like Rodrigo, we will never be back. There is no excuse for this kind of behavior. This situation.could have been handled so much better by Tamara and Three Amigos.

I've eaten here four times and it's been tasty every time. The drinks, service and food are all very good for a place in Montana. And that's saying a lot for a guy from south Texas

Food was very bland. Had a taco salad and enchiladas. The salsa was very good though. Probably wouldn't return.
