We stopped at the Hitchin' Post on a Saturday after a long hike in the mountains and as a break on our camping trip. It was very busy with live music so trying to accommodate our large, party of eight without a reservation was touch and go... But they did it and even reorganized heavy bar tables to do it! We had to wait a bit for our food, but when it came it was exactly as we ordered it which was a testament to our diligent server who also made sure our glasses were full...
We both had the huckleberry chicken salad which was just amazing, and neither of us could finish, so we have lunch. Also got some huge cinnamon rolls for breakfast. ? Very good service as well!
Our server JB, was so nice and easy going. Love the meal, atmosphere and service.
I can definitely say, “been there, done that and got the T-shirt” 🤠
