This is a nice building. BUT! I cannot understate how awful the food was. Very poor quality ingredients and poorly prepared. My husband got a NY strip (+$40) and it was incredibly thin like it had been tenderized flat. It did not look like a NY strip at all. I had chicken marsala. It was not good. Goat cheese crostini was good! The spaghetti and raviolis that come with dinner were sopping wet and overcooked. Service was not great. I asked for a glass of wine and had to walk to the bar after waiting for another staff member to get my drink order. The prices for service like this is unreasonable. This is one of the most expensive places around and is the worst meal we've had in a long time.

I grew up in Butte and Lydia's has been there as long as I can remember. The staff is friendly but it took 2 1/2 hours to get our food. I don't know why because we all ordered basic meals. We saw a lot of folks come in after us and leave long before us...some ordered exactly the same meals that we did. I graduated in '81 and this was my first time back since then. Yup...I'm a fossil!

My steak was extremely overcooked ($44 for 7 ounce) and the pasta was bland and tasted like it came from a can. My friend got an old fashioned that seemed to just be a shot of grenadine with a shot of whiskey, it was very bizarre.

Really great, old school supper club. The food and service were outstanding. We were visiting from out of state and only in Butte for one night so we wanted to do something a little different for dinner and Lydia's was perfect. Really cool vibe and so much food, plus ice cream to close the meal. The shrimp were HUGE and my steak was cooked just right. Highly recommended!

I went here to have dinner with my family and we received the absolute worst service from Brandi. She was very rude and made us feel rushed and never checked on us for any refills or anything. The food was pretty good but it makes it hard for me to want to eat at a restaurant that hires anyone
We were passing through town and decided to try Lydia’s. So glad we did! The service was exceptional. The decor and atmosphere were retro. Love the stained glass on the walls and the huge picture windows with views of the mountains. Each entree comes with salad, spaghetti, ravioli, and fries and ice cream at the end. So much food! We had the dinner steak and ribeye which came out sizzling. Loved our experience at Lydia’s and would definitely eat here again!

So my wife and I went there for our Anniversary and I have to say the food was bland. pasta came out no flavor swimming in water. Service was slow and the rest of the food was temped like it was sitting on the shelve for a while before it was brought out. I will never go back or recommend this place to anyone. Since 1 star is the lowest to give this place is in the negative numbers.
