So my wife and I went there for our Anniversary and I have to say the food was bland. pasta came out no flavor swimming in water. Service was slow and the rest of the food was temped like it was sitting on the shelve for a while before it was brought out. I will never go back or recommend this place to anyone. Since 1 star is the lowest to give this place is in the negative numbers.

You have to experience this restaurant. A walk back in time, with great food, and impressive service. The restaurant is an icon. There have been several great dining experiences in Butte but this is an absolute must. The ambiance is fabulous. Do not miss this establishment.

Pricey and needing an update!I feel this restaurant is caught in a time capsule, aged and deteriorating over time and the owner neglected to update the place as needed. Everyone seemed happy and proud to work here. The chairs and couches in the bar immediately caught my eye and need to be thrown out. I felt like I was sitting in bacteria the entire dining experience (see photos). The server we had was young and trying, however fell short on the experience as if she lacked training. The sweet potato red onion baby food mush, raviolis, and giant plate of spaghetti + ice cream served in addition to the meals here were not desirable and very much shined poorly on the management decisions here as well as the kitchen staff. I'm sure you are losing money! The food was expensive and barely edible. The French fries were called twigs by my friends ten year old son. From the start it looked too dark in the bar and it's probably due to the facilities needing a serious cleaning. The idea of the nostalgia and history here was fun, but the cleanliness and food quality factors fell terribly short. This place needs a Gordon Ramsay type to fix it. I am sure there is more that a fair share of food leaving in to go boxes due to the abundance of lack luster accoucheaments served with each meal. BTW for the price of dinner, we could have enjoyed some fresh french bread, not stale bread cigar like bread sticks. Really, all in all, this place is a disaster and needs significant improvement. Maybe it was an off night? I was just visiting and in the future will try to persuade everyone in my party to go elsewhere if I have any say. Please fix the cleanliness and food preparation and quality here before people start leaving sick.

TURN AROUND! Do NOT eat here.... The inside is just a crap as the outside. Worst place in Montana, our server Lisa lean was so bewildered on their menu. She didn't know what sauces went on the dishes she didn't offer what the next tables server offered. The lime aioli on the calamari isn't available and we got ranch instead, when i asked the server Lisa Lean she gave me a dumb look like it was her 1st night. For the salad dressings she couldn't even tell me what the house dressing was. She didn't offer us anchovies nor sweet potato salad, she didn't offer us white or red sauce on the spaghetti. Which was all fine until we got the food and the King crab stunk and tasted like a week old left in the gutter trash crab. My daughters filet order medium well came out blue mowing & the WACK Server Lisa Lean says ohhh whoops med WELL & med RARE sound the same.... What an idiot :( my sons ribeye was med rare and tougher then the shell on the crab! I explained all this to our server, showed her the steak was to hard to cut. She started to argue with my kid that it has fat in it, when my son stepped in and explained that the menu says marbled and a nice marble steak should tear apart. She started to argue some more and blatantly said nope I'm not going to argue as she said ohhh ok and walked away. STEAKS HAD ZERO FLAVA needs lots of A1. We didn't take any food home i didn't touch but one leg of my crab & nothing was offered to make our visit a pleasant one. After we got the bill we asked to talk to a manager and GUESS WHO ISBTHE MANAGER LISA LEAN THE WORST SERVER IN THE WORLD! I was a server for 15 years at some very high end restaurants, i love serving people and this Manager is a perfect example of a lady who does drugs or drinks on the job. LISA LEAN is absolutely the WROST MANAGER i think she is mental! I will NEVER REFER Lydia's supper club! Was the worst experience I've ever had in my entire life! Let me say the spaghetti red sauce taste like chefboyardee spaghetti Os BARF the ravioli BLAHHHH tasted like a mix of Vienna & spam. The butter isn't even butter HOW CHEAP CAN THIS RESTAURANT BE? Best b part we weren't even offered ice cream or dessert.

This place was my Grandfather's favorite and having heard of it for decades, we went for dinner this evening. With a vibe of yesteryear, the food was plentiful. Our perfectly cooked steak dinner was served with salad, sweet potato mash, ravioli AND spaghetti, and topped off with spumoni ice cream. Lisa, our server was fantastic and shared some of the history with us. So happy we went!

Just had drinks and enjoyed friends. 12 bucks was way too much for Canadian whiskey for me . A double but I enjoyed the time with my family and friends on my 78th b-day.

The decor is a bit out of date and felt crowded with the people next to us, but the food and service made it worth the trip.
