The owner is enchanting; she came out to greet our large group and passionately shared her grandmother’s recipes from Saudi Arabia. I have such admiration for women in business—the energy and dedication she puts into creating this culinary magic is impressive.

Amazing food in a real Butte ambiance- well curated remodel of an old building retaining some quirkiness while feeling clean and fresh. The food had a great variety of texture, flavor profiles and was well presented. Happy to have some spice! The beer was cold. The service was sweet. Next time I’ll save room for dessert!!

I’m still searching for the words to express how delicious the food was. In our party of 5, everyone at the table was blown away by their meal. We were still talking about it the next day. Saffron is a real gem in Butte, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. I can’t wait to come back.
Vegetarian options: Vegan curry was strikingly delicious and extremely filling.
Dietary restrictions: The vegan curry was perhaps the best curry I’ve ever tasted in my life. I’m not exaggerating.
Honestly one of the best middle eastern restaurants I’ve ever been to in America. Every dish was exceptional! The menu is brilliant and inventive and it was so hard to choose- hope to come back and try everything we missed. This place is the real deal!

I cannot speak highly enough about Saffron! I have enjoyed their catered meals in the past and was thrilled to find out there is now a restaurant! I most recently visited with family and we each tried something different - all was flavorful and delicious. I especially enjoyed the weekly special which had an incredible fusion of Middle Eastern flavors and textures with fresh ingredients. The staff were all very attentive, friendly, professional, and clearly passionate about good food. When I travel back to Butte I will certainly be visiting here again!

Every time that I have ever been to Saffron, the food has been to die for and the service is phenomenal. This staff works their absolute tail off and uses ingredients that you can’t find anywhere else. The bartenders also know their way around a martini that’s for sure!
Now unlike the man child two reviews down (who I am guessing also suffers from impotence) I am capable of making a 30 minute drive without any complaints. Driving from Whitehall really isn’t that much of feat. Although one could say that it is an enormous feat for his wife who must tolerate him for such a long drive. Also, common sense would suggest that if you can’t find the item you were looking for-and it really is that big of deal because you’re so picky that you probably eat a steady diet of dino nuggies- then you just literally don’t have to order and you can leave.
