We were traveling through & asked for a recommendation of a good place to eat. The Derby has good food, nice portion size but was a little spendy. Almost $20 for chicken parmesan, although very tasty is still a bit much. That said, though, if we lived closer, we would still probably go back to try the steaks. They looked amazing! The staff seemed nice & it was a cozy dining experience. If you're ever in Butte, MT, it's worth checking out at least once.

The Derby NEVER disappoints. Perfectly prepared and cooked food. Friendly and attentive service. Always. The only downside for us is they switched from Coca-Cola to Pepsi products. We got beers instead which were not ice cold.

My husband and I were out west traveling from Alabama. We enjoyed our meal at Darby Steakhouse! It was the most delicious meal we had in all of Montana, Idaho & Wyoming!!! Thank you!!!!! We highly recommend this place!!!

My girlfriend and I just went to the derby and spent over $100. Our stakes mooed at us when the brought them out, we asked to have them re cooked and the thicker parts of them were still raw when they came back out. The lobster was over cooked and rubbery and the butter was boiling hot and popping all over our table. Over all a bad experience accept for our server who was great.

The prices are far from reasonable my husband ordered the steak and lobster which came out grissy more fat then steak the lobster was tough and got told it was one price then get the bill and it's double the price I ordered just the hamburger and it came out almost an hour later and it was dry and I only saw my waiter 2 times I went and found her for the check I don't know if I will be back and the seat need fixed especially for the people who have scoliosis

I go there with my family at least every other month when possible. The staff are always friendly and the food is always fantastic! Even when we do takeout the food is always hot and ready even when I get home. I've never had a problem there and would recommend it to anyone who wants to go out for a steak dinner!
