This is an awesome little hotel based on the mines in the area , each room has the name and years of operation on it. Our room was Kelley Mine, and it was very spacious with lots of light and blackout curtains in both rooms. Each room had a queen bed and lots of space, and there was even a small closet for storage. We loved our stay and would definitely come again.

A true gem in the Gem State. I stumbled upon this hotel but will march to it moving forward. Fabulous location in the heart of the part of historic Butte.. Walk to many historic sites and restaurants. The speak easy in the basement is off the hook cool. And Don the bartender is the bomb. He encapsulates the quirkiness and spirit of this small, personal and fabulous hotel. I'll be back without question.

Even though we live only 30 miles away over in Anaconda, the Miners Hotel is a destination. The history, rooms (ours was a bank vault with sitting area) and the speakeasy in the basement (51 Below) is off the charts as a memorable experience. The complimentary breakfast at the Miners Cafe which is next door, has everything you need and decent selection vs standard continental breakfast. We even had a great time with the staff members because they were so fun and lively to talk with. We highly recommend a one of a kind unique experience here for an overnight stay 💖

Can’t say enough about how much we like this place. If we’re going to stay overnight anywhere within 100 miles, we pick the Miners Hotel. Clean, comfortable, friendly staff, and the historical ambiance cannot be matched.

Super friendly and easy to work with staff! The views from some rooms aren't fantastic, but the overall aesthetic of the place can't be beat. Plus, if you're visiting around the summer, there's sometimes a local farmers market on the street right outside!

Our family of five had a wonderful experience at the Miner's Hotel! The service was excellent. The host made sure we had everything we needed to check in, as we were coming in after hours. Our suite was clean, had everything we needed, and more! The location in Uptown Butte lends itself to a unique experience which we took advantage of. Parking was not an issue. We enjoyed breakfast at the Miner's Cafe the next morning. The food was delicious. Highly recommend The Miner's Hotel!

The speakeasy in the basement is amazing as well with an excellent selection of beers and cocktails. It's a 5 minute walk from some great bars and restaurants that serve breakfast and dinner, historical tours, and they have their own parking lot. I've stayed here twice, and I highly recommend!

Very nice place to stay and enjoyed our one night in October 2024. Management was super cool about our escape artist dog Libby. Very nice adjacent breakfast cafe. Server was very friendly. These are things that would have given it 5 Stars. 1. Window in our room. 2. Thermostat in our room. 3. Friendlier bar tender. 4. More reasonable pet fee. 5. Complimentary breakfast skimpy. We will definitely stay again.

I was unsure of what to expect considering some of the reviews. But I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. I do a lot of traveling and rarely write reviews for hotels. This one was worth writing about. Granted it is an old building, but the room was nice sized, it was clean despite the age. Much of the furniture was antique but excellent condition. My room had a fairly new walk in shower. There is one thing to be aware of. There is not a 24 hour attendant at the front desk. However there is a number to call and they are very responsive. You just need to be a bit patient. Every worker I encountered was excellent, including the bar tender of the Speak Easy in the basement. If you like a rustic yet clean environment, this is a great place to stay.
The Miner's Hotel was quaint, comfortable, had friendly assistance, and the hotel embodied a step back in time with the plaques and art around the hotel sharing the history of mining. It was centrally located so it was easy to get to the event I was in town for. Thanks Minder's Hotel -youse guys rock! ?

Rooms are very comfortable, unique and a great value but what really makes the Miners Hotel such a wonderful stay is the staff. Everyone we encountered could not have been more professional, friendly and accommodating to the needs of our group. A testament to Butte hospitality!

Nice Charming motel located in Butte, Montana. I stayed in the bank vault room. It was very clean and spacious. I was greeted by a friendly and helpful staff. This is in an excellent location if you would like to be able to walk around the town and site see as I did. Thank you so much Miner's Hotel for a great stay!

Can't say enough about this place. Coming from the East Coast I found this to be an incredible bargain. Huge gorgeous room, great bathroom and shower, yummy drinks at the Speakeasy, and free breakfast at the Cafe. All staff friendly and helpful. Would come back regularly if I lived closer!
