“My husband and I stopped in a whim even though there were no reviews yet on Yelp. Sometimes you just have to live on the wild side! The decor was fairly basic, but we were warmly greeted by our server and immediately provided with menus and drinks. The burgers we ordered arrived quickly, hot off the grill and clearly not pre-frozen. They were the best burgers we'd had in a long while. The buns were buttered and toasted with just the right amount of crunch as well.. We also ordered the fried pickles which were also hot and crisp. Overall, we would return in a heartbeat and we are very proud to give the Wooden Nickel it's first Yelp rating!“
