Went to Chubbys for a birthday dinner. I was craving steak and was not disappointed. The New York Steak with Shrimp was very good. The sides were mushrooms, baked potato and corn. With salad and bun. The three shrimp were steamed and served with butter. Nice sized and pretty good for Montana. This has probably ruined me for the other restaurants in Helena that serve steaks. Good to very good food, staff are friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is like small-town friendly, like an old west watering hole. Upgrade might be good, but something would be lost at the same time.

I have lived in Helena 31 years and this was my first time visiting Chubby's. My friends took me there for my birthday for Prime Rib. I was pleased with my dinner and wow the portion! I had dinner for 3 days. The white chocolate Rasberry Cheesecake for my dessert for excellent. It was wonderful!
