Every restaurant should model after the Hardware Cafe. This place has amazing food and complements to the chef for preparation, quality, and taste. Wait staff is very friendly and very accommodating.
Sadly, this 3 star update replaces a previous 5 star review. The last several times that we have eaten at the hardware cafe, we have been increasingly disappointed with both the food and the service.
The food was ok. We asked for our scrambled eggs to be dry but they came out under done. Too much mayonnaise on the breakfast sandwich but it wasn’t bad. French toast had a different flavor that wasn’t great. The pancakes were excellent and the orange juice tasted freshly squeezed and was absolutely amazing.
