Wonderful people, great food, amazing character, and quite a memorable place on my visit for breakfast. Yummm. Flavorful basic coffee. This could nearly be in a museum of restaraunts 😆.
This is a true American treasure. We stopped in on our way to Missoula and met an entire community of wonderful people. Our food was ready for a while before we stopped chatting with Patty, Mike, Dan, and so many other great people we hope to meet again the next time we come in to town. The food was excellent. My husband and I had BLT’s. If you ever forget what the heart of America looks like, just stop on it. Nay sayers keep on driving
I have been going to Uncle Sams since 1999. Flavoured ice tea (raspberry is the best!), three bean salad and any sandwich that takes your fancy will be fantastic. You need to finish off a meal with a Smelter Special. Going to miss this place, now that retirement will mean less trips to Columbus. Thanks Carol for all the great memories.
